I couldn’t even manage to finish the one epi I tried watching and then never got back to it. That opening scene of Vikrant in the car with the girl was just 🤔

Bearish actually had an immediate pull effect IMO. This one was trying too hard with the “angst” 🤷‍♀️

Isse better toh woh cold lassi and chicken masala wala show tha with Rajeev and Divyanka😆....I actually surprisingly liked it. Performances were good despite the typical mills and boon story.

And MOM was good too. Baaki I haven’t checked any Alt Balaji shows recently.

As i said i had lot of issies with it too alina being one of them ca it just looked so fake plus i just didn't get the feel of them being so close or in love i did felt it weird caz that girl had like 0 impact or effect in her flashbacks or anything but still i enjoyed it overall caz aam and veer together had something that clicked for me

Oh ok....I'll see if I can give it a try again some day. Whatever little I watched was confusing to me cuz I initially couldn't even differentiate between the lead girl and the dead wife....lol they looked so similar features wise....and dead wife waali actress was utterly unremarkable.

Vikrant is good no doubt but the material didn't hold me when I tried watching it.....I'll see if I can give it a try again later though.

Yeah i kept getting confused between them too but that alina had just something so fake about her not for a sec i felt bad for her dying or connected with her fake personality and outlook. Kuch zyada hi banawati thi woh even in her cribbing about veer not giving her anytime and stuff. I also found the friends of sam super annoying and extra time consuming waste of space. Didn't got a genuine vibe their too. It was like all fake 2,4 log in all balaji series

Btw I started watching Broken ka season 1 yesterday and finished the whole season in one go. Lol this time I got into the story and characters more so I’m liking it. I see what you mean now about Sam’s character and the way Harleen is playing her. You feel for her even as she spirals in her despair and confusions. Vikrant ki acting as Veer is awesome. You really start to connect to their developing equation despite the somewhat predictable premise of a rebound relationship and the past baggage tripping them up. But the convos are well written and the acting uplifts it. I especially liked how they kind of fell into a patten of caring for each other and developing a comfort level subconsciously.

One scene that was really cute was when Sam takes his headphones and runs away and he’s chasing her and catches her from behind and they are in their own zone, not realizing that everyone is watching them and then they get all awkward 😆. That humming waali tune is totally stuck in my head now. And the Laute nahin song has more pathos when you hear it in context of the story.

I’m gonna start on season 2 soon.
