There is no limit for the CVs' inventive minds Gayatri!! RK story is their love-oriented story, no doubt about it. But they made Krishna all-powerful up to half of the episodes and Radha a dumb headed arrogant girl throughout that phase, now Krishna is a mere mayavi again and kids and villagers, Nand and messengers started playing a vital role in this exclusive Kri-Bal-Kans part!! Now Radha will enter to kill Kans with her Prem Ki Shakti!!!🤪

Now I have more faith in our telepathy. I was asking Madhuri Didi about Meera and you posted a bhajan that depicts her essence. This forum is indeed a blessing for us. There is something serene and magical about this place that binds us together. May be the positive spirit and aura of every member i guess.😳 This place is a paradise of positivity, creativity and spirituality. 🤗

Coming back to your songs,I loved them ❤ the first song is simply love personified. How similar yet different Radha & Meera are at their very core. They both have fought against the taboos of society, tortures of in-laws,bondages of material world etc. They were both Krishn deewanis, yoginis, tapaswinis. I sometimes think may be Meera was a Gopika in her previous birth and reincarnated again to gain Krishnprem. Radha and Meera both redefined love in their respective times. The lyrics are beautiful ❤ they remind me of another iconic song "Ek Radha Ek Meera" ❤️

"Murli ki har taan pe Radha ka naam saje re, Bansi ka dard magar meera ke mann mein jage re" reminds me of " ek murli ek payal,ek pagli ek ghayal, antar kya dono ki preet mein bolo ? Ek surat lubhani ek murat lubhani."

" Radha deewani bhai,Meera sudhbudh kho ke bhakti mein leen hui,ek ke ang lage, duje ke rang mein range." Sounds similar to " meera ne madhuvan mein dhundha, radha ne mann mein paaya... Radha ke prabhu giridhar nagar,Meera ke mann mohan. Radha nit shringaar kare aur Meera bann gayi jogan."

Thank you Stormie for sharing this saccharine melody.🤗

The second song is equally beautiful. It describes the beauty and flexibility of Krishna. One can love him in any form. You can love him as Son, brother, friend, guide, teacher and also as your beloved. ❤ That's why he is known as chittchor, manmohan, balgopal and such. Every kind of love agrees with him from platonic to passionate.❤

Thank you again Stormie ❤

Another melodic beauty ❤❤❤

Even vulnerable Radha is full of love. She has been the muse of many artists since ages. Lovelorn Radha is the very picture of premviraha. Loved these lines "Dibaloke se amaye naam dhore daake, amake sobai doshe se sadhu thake." Unfortunately that has been the norm of our society. We always put the blame on a woman. A woman is always expected to be uptight and strict when it comes to her desires. But Radha never restricted herself and that's the reason she is forever immortalized as the Goddess of Love.❤

Lalita go...oke aaj chole jete bal na...❤❤

Thank you Stormie ❤

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u0q4J93TRvk

this is from the movie fuleswari by tarun majumder. Whenever I feel like watching beautiful innocent love onscreen, I watch this movie. Beautiful movie with really beautiful songs.

Where did we lose this tranquility ? And why did we lose it ? Why we failed so miserably to protect this beauty of life ? My heart aches whenever I watch such songs from that golden era. How did our minds get so polluted ? This so called revolution and revival somehow took our authenticity. Now we are nothing but bunch of pesudo revolutionaries with identity crises. We can't find such innocence in today's India not even in rural India.

"Jano lajjobotir choron hoite, altaa dhuiyaa jaae. ❤ "And he glanced at her feet and her saree's dripping edges.❤❤ Such pure love ! From this purity,we moved on to present day vulgarity.🤢

"Tomar gopon kotha joto ache bondhu buke, onchole dhakil tobu dhaka naahi thaake. Shoponero deyul jano tomari o aakhi, kichu shopno dao bondhu amioto dekhi." Uff ❤❤

Tapur Tupur Brishti Jhore,Kon She Akash Theke.❤

Do share more Stormie.

The best thing about these old songs is,how colorful they are without showing any. The colors of life are beautifully woven in these melodies.❤

The devakinandan song is so beautiful. We would love to listen to more Odiya songs. It's a beautiful language and like a sister to Bengali. So similar and so sweet.

Yes indeed dear 🤗 we have similar culture and our languages are also alike.😳 I love Bengali language. Would love to learn someday. I wish I could go back to the Bengal of Tagore's era. His stories are ❤❤❤

I'll share more Odia songs.😳 And I would love to listen to more Bengali songs from all genres.😊

The first song is more of a love song than a bhajan. Every girl has been in Meera's place atleast once in her life. And every girl who has ever been a Meera can relate to that song from the core of her soul. Another song like that is Shyam Teri Bansi. With these songs---the thin line between mortal love and divine love somewhere gets dissolved. Pure love is divine afterall.

Good night ❤️

Agree dear. Being Meera is so hard. But you need to have a Krishna like beloved to be able to feel Meera's feelings. Such love and such beloved is rare to find.Someone who is in unrequited love with her beloved can understand it even more deeply. Our Krishna was benevolent unlike human beloveds.😆
