His movies are earning consistently well. Varun charges higher than him yet his movies are considered hit even when his movies earn half of what Auyshmann's movie earn. His movies have story not big sets, visual effects and unnecessary stuffs to inflate budgets. 10 cr isn't that big if you consider Ranbir and Shahid who charge 25-40 cr.

That was not a dig at Ayushman. This is how PR of some actors work. Actor was paid 20-60 crores still they would claim their 80cr earner is a hit due to small budget movie.

I am pretty sure, if some established names had this feat, they would have hiked it to 50 crores along with profit sharing.

So, hiking his fees to 10 crores from 2 crores does sound like a whopping upsurge in terms of percentage, but in nominal terms, this would still be an underpayment.

He deserves every single dime he is demanding and much, much more even.

at the same i wish every professional field has such salary as actors and sports celebrity there will be no poverty all the salary are in their pockets than the common man who doesn't have enough to spend upon his family🤣
