Yes these are major setbacks in life, very sorry for her, but I guess these experiences probably changed her and this probably explains why she doesn’t fight for stupid reasons and coming across as dumb, as few people call it.

I wondered at times, if she was pretending to be nice, but after reflecting on her life events, am happy to believe she is genuinely a very good person, happy to help anyone, just not people who are her friends.
