I wish HS had never gone to bring Saroj and Pinku back, rather encouraged Geeta and Babita to be friends. LOL!

It seems Geeta and Babita did indeed become friends. Babita hired her in her business as well. Ughh I would have loved to actually watch all this.

Idk why HS and Babita would tell her VB was always first. No wonder, Arya feels a little jealous and resentful towards Mini. 🤔

Same. I watched some bits and pieces of today's episode after finding out that Babita started PB restaurant. I so knew they would only redeem Babita in implied mode aghhh... 🤪

I don't care either. I don't want to watch it with any hopes because I know what KK is capable of doing... Don't wanna go that route again.

I don't want anything to do with this show anymore, especially when it comes to S2.

KK has singled handedly ruined everything that used to be precious about this show. It has now gotten to the point that I don't even want to visit the forum anymore because all that anyone can talk about is S2. It's understandable since that's what's ongoing but it doesn't change the ashy bitter taste that's left behind in my mouth.

Every single thing that I once treasured in this show has been destroyed to the point I can't recognize it anymore. You can't even call this butchering anymore. It's plain out murder, straight and simple. And I don't have any interest in staying behind and watching the leftover pieces be picked on.

Ok so I watched couple episodes in FF mode since I am off for Thanksgiving break, esp. the scenes that had Arya in 'em.

Arya-Mini eating cotton candy scene was cute.

Arya - Mujhe mamma hamesha dilati thi jab school se lene aati thi

Mini - Mujhe bhi, jab main bachhi thi aur Babes mujhe lene aati thi

Arya - Tum Mamma ko Babes kyun bulati ho?

Mini - Tum Babes ko Mamma kyun bulati ho?

Arya - Meri marzi

Mini - Toh, meri bhi marzi

Arya - Tum Papa ko kya Bulati thi?

Mini - Hanuman Uncle

Arya - Kyun ki woh tumhare Papa nahi the?

Mini - Nahi the na, sirf woh hi toh ek the.

The new aaya gave major Babita flashback of when Babita was working as an aaya in S1.

I was surprised to see them hiring a maid because when HS always told Babita that before she always said its not a lot of work, she can do it on her own. But, it makes sense they hired a maid to cook and stuff because Babita was a working woman. I am guessing she started PB after Arya was born maybe.

Also, the scene where Arya is trying to sleep even in the morning because she wants to meet her mamma in her dreams was just so sad, because Mini told her mamma will come to meet her in her dreams, as she comes to meet Mini in her dreams too... and when Arya goes to Mini at night and tells her how even though she tried to sleep, Mamma didn't come in her dreams. Mini tells her you have to be deep in sleep, and Arya says I don't wanna sleep because what if she comes and I don't get to meet her because usse bahut kuch baat karni hai mamma se was just 😒. Arya is like "I know Mamma will come in your dreams because you are always first na, she will obviously come to you first", and makes her promise to send mamma to Arya if mamma comes to Mini's dreams was just 🥺

So freaking tragic. Aghhh.

I know 😭. I feel you. I felt that way when we saw the letter burning scene in the precap on a Friday, and the whole weekend I didn’t wanna visit the forum because of the amount of bashing Babita got for that. The whole weekend that you were gayab too 😆... The way they ruined Babita’s character affected me more than I can explain😒.

This S2 and the onscreen drama has for sure left a bitter taste.

Butchering se bhi jyada hogaya hai. It’s has all been ruined. It’s tainted now.

Btw, are you doing S 1 rewatch threads? I can understand if you don’t wanna watch even older episodes anymore. I am on the same boat.

You don't need to explain it to me. I totally get how you feel. We had expected way too much, especially when it comes to Babita.

I'm a huge fan of HS (surprise surprise) but I connected the most to Babita. For them to murder the core of her so blatantly hurts something really deep inside of me. And then for them to lay out her ugliness but then not even bother to show the beauty that lies within her? All her positive qualities or the triumphs, and lessons that she learnt along the way? Disgusted is too small of a word to describe how I feel.

Never have I been hurt by a show to this extent. To think that a woman did this to another is appalling on a whole other level.

On screen, off screen, all the drama involved has ruined it for me. I can't watch S2 knowing at what cost we got. Aniruddh can go back and shoot as many scenes as he wants but I will never connect to the show or HS again like I did before. There's a void with Hanita gone and these flashbacks that they keep using in the show will never lure me back.

As for the rewatch, I'm in two minds tbh. A part of me wants to relive the glory days and I know it's something that Jean is really looking forward to. Then there's another part of me that kinda doesn't want to because my POV has changed immensely. I won't be able to blot out the recent off screen drama and will constantly wonder what the heck happened that made things change so drastically. I also fear my responses will be a lot more cynical and bitter. Rushed, because it's another thing I have to get through rather than take my time with.

Idk, I might be feeling this way because I'm in a very irritable mood today, especially in regards to PB. I'll see how I feel tomorrow.

Yeah, she needed strong female support in her life. NB to a certain extent failed her and I don't know what happened to Poonam.

Because of their guilt and missing Minnie, and because KK wanted to reemphasize HS and Babita's supposed failure as parents who always said Minnie was first but their actions apparently showed otherwise. Also, for Minnie to realize that she should not have left the way she did and that she had misunderstood them to an extent as an angry young woman.

But mainly because they need a reason for sibling rivalry.
