I don't see any problem in appreciating vamps and villains as long as they are a part of the Show. Problem arises with unnecessary bashing, which I think will not be a case in an Appreciation Thread. The sole purpose of AT will be to appreciate a certain character or an actor, so I don't see bashing being an issue there.

I cannot guarantee the same for a general thread, though.
