Because man and woman are not same. With that Asim has a family where all loves him. Aarti is an orphan , friends are her family and only hope. So couldn't accept.

There is nth to call her mental patient or have so serious problem that she must go out. It was a sudden outburst as she was suppressing this for a long time sp with a bully frnd like a Sid. Now she will come out too like Asim. It's just man woman doesn't react the same.
