Kangana now claims hormone use to gain weight

After the release of the "fist look" has backfired, kangana is now backpedaling and is claiming she used hormones to gain weight. Everyone can clearly see is prosthetics, they even advertised the process of getting the body suit!

But what is really dangerous is this new manipulation being put out. WHAT responsible Doctor gives a healthy woman hormones to gain weight? They should forfeit their medical license. It is highly irresponsible of kangana to announce this and for media to publish it as a commendable thing, hormone replacement is used by women for medical reasons, or when menopause symptoms are not managed well. BUT hormones are a double edged sword and must be controlled as they can cause different forms of cancer and heart disease, even with short term use. I find it appalling that the medical community in India does not put forth a disclaimer on wrongful use of medication to achieve a cosmetic effect. So that young or healthy women do not even consider this alternative This is really low even for the ranauts.

Wait, she actually said this or it's just a made up article like the media usually prints? Because how? Everyone knows she never gained weight. It's not like weight is something that can be hidden. Everyone knows how fat Aamir was during Dangal. It's not something that suddenly appears on a poster.

Kangana has earlier shared about struggling to gain weight but for this role she put on 6 kilos. The actress also revealed she took mild dose of hormone pills since she is tall and lean but had to put on weight near the belly and thighs. She has also started eating food that promotes weight gain.

The makers of the movie have teamed up with Jason Collins for the prosthetic. "His team made a structure that was suitable to make me look voluptuous. During the portions showcasing her as a young politician, we aimed to only make my face look fuller. As for the rest of the body, it took the team seven hours each day to acquire the look. The hands had to be re-done, and different kinds of pads were used for different parts of the body," Kangana said, who also underwent Bharatnatyam and Tamil language sessions to play the role.

If you are making a biopic movie, it's not that one should try to make the actor look too much like the person on whom biopic movie is made.

It's better to concentrate on acting skills more to bring out biopic of someone. To follow their body language is good but to try to look like them through prosthetic is something odd.

How much hard work regarding prosthetic on Kangana or harmone use, she is looking some other person, not herself as if some other actor not herself playing Jayalalitha.

Granted a lot of them may have short attention spans, but it is irresponsible as hell for her to say it and media to quote it.

True.. Hrithik was initially criticized a lot for Super 30 as he doesn't look like Anand kumar..then his bronzed look, dialect everything was criticized..but when movie released nothing mattered..It was a good story, heartfelt message and convincing acting that made the movie work

This is just not very smart. Fortunately people rarely want belly fat so hopefully no one will try to emulate her. It’s weird for her to even say - she clearly tried to look the part and obviously is desperate for praise. It’s the same old thing I guess, I wish she would get therapy to work out her issues and then maybe she could let her work speak for her.
