So even after all the mess in the dynamics and especially the writing, he did become alert and paid more attention to her needs - I was beginning to see the old HS but I still don't get why they had that unfinished conversation and why he didn't even go to the door when clearly he was devastated that she was leaving, that too like this. I don't know if we'll ever get the answers and AD wasn't giving us a direct one either.

The fact is that no matter what happened, in this time of need, she will put all giley shikvey aside and just wants him to embrace her and console her. I don't know what HS would have done if he were still around - he may not have wanted her to have to act as Veer Balika all the time but whether or not he would have done something about it is anyone's guess. It's one of those questions they chose to leave unanswered but the thing is, right now, in Minnie's mind, he's the only one she thinks of going to for the kind of support she needs and with whom she doesn't need to be brave.

I don't think Aniruddh will ever give us a direct answer for it. It's a story after all and this is a way that the character behaved. As to why he did it is up for personal interpretation.

It makes sense for her want to seek him out though. Whenever she has hit her lowest points, he was always there to help her out (apart from the Meeta incident). The lohri, the courtroom, Manmeet, or the hospital. In some form or another, he's always been there and just let her cry. Just cry her heart out, let out her frustrations and anguish and then he'll help in whatever way he can.

And that's how it's been for both of them really. Whenever HS has been low, she was there to pick him up and vice versa. Sukh ka saathi toh koi bhi ban sakta hai but dukh ka? Woh toh naseebo se milta hai and after so long they both had finally found each other.

I can just imagine if it had been Babita who died, he would've been the one to keep himself strong so that Minnie can mourn. He'd have put his feelings and the loss of his second wife on the back burner and put all his energies on his daughters instead. With time I'm sure Minnie would have helped him out with his mourning but sab se pehle HS ki chhoriyan aati.

Nowadays number of followers on social media decides what you are in the show. If you have millions of followers then you are the lead , if not then you are a side character. No matter how good an actor you are or how much you have contributed to the success of story, your character can end anyday if you don't fetch trp.

This is brutal and fcking nuts. The number of followers on a social media account shouldn't dictate your status on a show. Then again, if Bollywood can be filled with such people then ITV kya cheez hai. 🤔

I'm not doubting Ashnoor's acting abilities and I genuinely think she's deserving of not only the following she has but also the opportunity to lead a show. What I have an issue with is the way it came about. It's super messy and distasteful. I know she didn't have a hand in it but the perception of it and the cost of supremely talented actors is just not worth it.

Moreover, literally all the other characters and story had to suffer for it. Most of the old characters were there but they also weren't. They were just standing around but they had nothing to do. At least when Hanita were around, they interacted with others and made them involved in the scene whether it was via dialogues or silent actions. Ab toh sab ke sab kare hi rahe gaye.

According to the precap she does know since someone had told her that with Hanita dead, she'll have to manage everything on her own. First of all, Idk which dumbfck told her that because who in their right mind will something like this to a four year old. Secondly, she knew something was amiss because her parents weren't around. She was very quiet and sad but she wasn't opening up to what was running through her mind.

Exactly!! Hanita had some solace with each other and then later Arya but Mini was all alone. Even then she knew that she had her parents to talk back upon although her hurt and ego were stopping her from doing so but now there is absolutely nothing!!

With all the missed calls and that single visit, her loneliness seems to be at least partly self inflected and this will weigh her down more than if it was simply by fate. Parents are also different from kids in that they often do not give up the hope that their child will return one day, mature and ready to talk to them.

Maybe they didn't even have time to elaborate all the whys and hows while on set on a super tight schedule. It could just be really improvisative and instinctive acting when being in the character.

He would have been the most eager of them all to keep her looped in to everything that she missed while she was gone. Arya not being forthcoming makes sense since she's just a kid and generally they're shy when they meet new people. But Babes? Did she really not want to speak to Minnie again? Did she still give her the silent treatment? Matlab ghussa aur ego ko itni priority di?? I can never accept this.

This was the best they could come up with, considering Paridhi wasn't going to shoot anymore. Lol.

It goes to show how no one truly understood her apart from Mickey. Even HS had at one point mistakenly believed that she has everything under control. For the most part, it's just an act from Minnie. She's the embodiment of the "fake it till you make it". She'll never let anyone in on her true feelings because she always keeps it hidden from them. She doesn't want to let anyone in because they'll just end up hurting her in the long run and literally everyone in her life has hurt her at some point or another. Of course that doesn't mean that she should give up on life altogether. But she needs to see that there's hope and meaning to it despite all the heartbreak it offers.

I'm not quite sure if Mickey did indeed understand her most. I think it's mostly a case of her opening up to Mickey more than anyone else, which is why he learned what was going on with her in more detail. With everyone else she bottled up her feelings, I guess because they were going after the soul mate angle. Not sure how to explain it.

With HS, she started withdrawing from him in the pre-wedding period already because in her mind her project had been near completion and she had been successful in preparing for her mother to become his wife and he her mother's husband. He just wasn't that important to her. We can debate whether or not he took the time to read her, but the thing is, he and his wishes were never on her radar except in minor instances which involved Babita. There was only take take take, and in the Imarti track it was in huge part about her showing solidarity because he was right, he was struggling, and because he has done so much for them. It wasn't out and out for him, until she realized he had to get out of that mode so that Babita could get her due.

The main problem was the mismatch in expectations between them at different points in time. When he considered her his daughter she wasn't interested and relegated him to the status of Babita's husband, not even stepfather.

When he was feeling like a failure she told him she never asked for a father in this marriage. When he'd fully withdrawn she finally realized she wanted him as her father but she also fought with him and herself. Her anger won out but her love for him was sacrificed at the altar of her issues with Babita.

HS could have handled things differently or at least tried to actively keep an eye on her, but if I look at her actions for a bit, the fact is she chose to hide things from her parents, and in this Mickey and Preet had not provided her guidance. Rather, they were complicit and watched her grow distant from her parents. They did not encourage her to mend fences whatsoever. Neither did NB, who is the biggest disappointment in all this.
