Shefali deserved the bashing because she was unfair as a Sanchalak but unfair aur biased toh voh apni captaincy ke time bhi thi, just because she was in Team Shukla that time, they made her a leader aur aaj Non-Shukli hui toh biased bolke bashing kardi

sanchalaks are (almost) always biased during tasks and tend to favor their own group of friends. in the beginning, they would always make abu the sanchalak and he would usually support shukla ka group because he was a part of that group. ab bhi jitne sanchalaks bane hain, sab ne apne groups ko hi support kia hai, apart from rashmi that one time. like you said, they just wanted to make it a point to bash shefali because she's not a shukli anymore
