Is Salman doing this show only to massage his ego?

Always showing how big he Is compared to the show and the contestants. Is his ego hurt that contestants don't listen to him? Or is he just bored of hosting the show? Never seen such an unprofessional behavior from a star. He's just sleepwalking on his superstar status now.
