(includes directors, performers, writers, technicians) because by doing that the final product will be worth watching and Bollywood wouldn't be such a joke..

LOL parents paying their children's fees is equal to the nepotism in Bollywood.. wow!

Then don't watch. Nobody is forcing you to. The only say you have is with your wallet.

And yes, it's the same exact thing. Let's say parents have 100K set aside for college. Should they help their own kid or one poor kid who is more intelligent that they don't know? Doesn't the world deserve smarter and more talented professionals instead of mediocre ones whose parents can afford to get them educated?

It's easy to say all that for BW but when it comes close to home, the rules change, right?

aur ye boundary ke bahar🤣

The institutes that are mushrooming all over India for Medical, Engineering and Management studies....the ones that work on donation....donation doh..admission le lo....shouldn't people be donating for a more smart kid than their own...after all donation ki zaroorat he tab padti hai when they can't make it to regular Institutes...so people stop nepotism...look for a smarter kid than yours to donate.

At times I don't understand the problem some forum members have. Whatever Tapsee achieved she achieved on her on. She had her struggle. She started with modelling, then south movies and then BW. She got recognition only after Pink. She is a bit over confident in interview's and as an actor she has limitations. But noway can she be compared to Nepo product Harshavardhan who only got movies because he is Anil Kapoor's son, nai toh aise chomu market mein bhare pade hai better looking and talented.

It's the entitlement that I don't understand. That outsiders *deserve* this and that. Nobody deserves anything. Nobody is entitled to anything. Nobody is required to do anything for you and insulting them isn't going to make them change their minds.

People like Karan Johar don't work with star kids out of the goodness of their hearts. They are not doing charity work. They take nepo kids because they come with name recognition and it makes their projects less risky than they would be with unknown outsiders. It's less of a monetary liability.

Look at the little short film Suhana did. In less than a week, an English-language film which was not promoted by her parents or their friends already has more than a million views. The teenager who directed it barely had 600 subscribers and his other videos hardly get a thousand views. If he had taken some other actress, nobody would have seen his hard work. That's the value nepo kids bring. Whining about outsiders deserving this and that won't change a thing.

To be fair, Anil doesn't produce movies for Burden 😆. So even he knows that his son is hopeless.

No they don't have to just struggle to get an entry, they have to keep struggling despite proving themselves cause some entitled brats think that they own the industry and despite being rejected by the audience are shoved down the audience's throat again and again.... Surprisingly even after giving flops after flops.....

Every 3 months we fight about nepotism but what's the end result. Whats the conclusion?

Does anyone opinion changed reading this discussion?

Ya sab apni apni baat pe adde hai.

Imagine if we lived in a world where no one helped anyone. I think that’s what these types want 🤣
