The age difference between Babita and Minnie is approximately the same as it is between Minnie and Arya. Also we've been told that Minnie started realising something is amiss in her family around the age Arya is now. But being a mom was probably easier for Babita who actually has carried the child that was entrusted to her than it could ever be for Minnie so there is def a parallel to HS as a father. I think That’s a bit of an insult to people who don’t carry their children or adopt. Carrying a child doesn’t necessarily make it easier to be their parent, as we see every day from ppl who abuse their kids. And any new parent (whether they carry their child or not) has little clue about bringing them up. Being a parent is a learning curve hence parents also being flawed and making mistakes. Many children are also brought up by siblings and turn out to be perfectly good adults. There is no set formula here.

There is a myth about “I carried you in my womb for 9 months” but you only have to open the newspaper to see how doesn’t always mean Something.

I don't want to insult anyone for sure, least the people who adopt. All I meant that bonding is easier because of the time already spent together. The same way dad's mostly need more time to figure things out but that doesn't make them less of a parent.

who knows? Maybe In the end mini-Arya will have an even better bond than any mother daughter due to the restrictions of that relationship. Mini felt these restrictions at times with being unable to confide in babita for eg. I think in the end it all boils down to the type of relationship ppl had with their parent coz it goes one of two ways: either you want kids to be brought up just as you were, or the opposite of what you were brought up.
