When someone asked if HS and Babita’s character were retained, would you continue with the show post leap... he said something along the lines of “I think the characters were written until here and whatever they had to perform, they tried to justify it fully”... something like that. It makes me think, he wouldn’t have continued with the leap even if the characters were retained post leap. He was very vague.

He said that regardless of the age of a character, he'll play it. He gave examples of Anupam Kher, and and Aamir Khan who play characters whose ages vary. He also mentioned how as being a near 30 year old, he played Y.A.R.O., so he can play anything.

He went on about it but that's the gist of it.
