PREERAN were never a couple they were just a namesake couple.I can understand KZK plot where Anurag-Prerna were destined to be apart but even the Bhagyas have spawned the same storyline.While Prithvi-Sherlyn are undoubtedly the antagonists call them villains or vamps like every serial has where the motive is mostly either property/wealth in case here the Luthra Property/love of either an FL or ML.

I would not have any issue with Preeran being either not a couple or being separated if that fake wedding drama of 1 month did not happen.Wonder why Prithvi was so much after Preeta? I find no difference between Karan/Prithvi after Karan's latest bad boy style act.As for Srishti she always hated Prithvi & perhaps either wanted/desired Karan as her brother in law like a concerned sibling for her sis Preeta.While her wish got fulfilled but her hopes were dashed.Preeran wedding has no legal sanctity & Preeta had to pay an untimely cost for which she was not responsible.Even if somehow the truth comes out by the time it would be too late with the serial taking a leap like it happened in the case of Kumkum Bhagya.

Also, I know now it's not true. But, when they showed Karan-Preeta earlier, was, I LOVED their friendship and their equation. It was different. Of course, their bickering was typical. But the underlying core was their friendship and how they became best friends. And I haven't seen that on TV before. Love-hate relationships between age-old best friends who have become bitter is common, and so is the same between lovers. But the resultant relationship is that of love. And here, love was always at the backseat THEN. The underlying core was friendship. And it was awesome despite every other crap. And now, it's just turned toxic for both of them, something that they can't hold on to, but can't let go of. At least for Karan.

Actually, their wedding does have legal sanctity. They got married as the the whole ritual, and registration of marriage is not mandatory for a marriage to be valid. A lot of states make it mandatory, but the fact that it is NOT registered, doses not invalidate it. They actually completed all the rituals of Sapta-Padi and all. So, this entire doosri Shaadi is actually moot. Coz even if a marriage is not registered, they have to take a divorce. Otherwise it's bigamy.

I like it too! She didn't try to commit suicide like her both elder sisters. She doesn't sit and cry. And I like her attitude when she says to Karan: "Congratulations! I am happy you're getting married!" That was really strong!
