He seemed in love the way he behaved ...guilt was ofcourse there but it was also love and more of guilt as it was for the person he loved most ...he seemed to be waiting for her like mad ...and 4 years if he could wait for her how could his thoughts change in 2 days 😀😀

They should have at least showed in glimpses or let’s say fast forward mode that a year has passed since Rohit is dating Sonakshi and they could have introduced this sep 26 track as well. But instead of 26 sep 2019 it would have been 26 sep 2020. He loved Raima like crazy and after a couple of hours he is like I love Sona. I felt a huge disconnect here. Till that point I watched so many Ronakshi moments on repeat but now after seeing this khichdi I don’t feel like watching old episodes which I once loved. I will try to watch for as long as I can but if it gets unbearable I will quit.

Absolutely ...he loves Sonakshi like crazy in just 2 days 🤣🤣 wow how quick was that ...do u really forget ppl those who u tend to be madly in love with so easily ... they could have shown Him slowly realising his love for Sonakshi or then how she makes him get over Raima but they did nothing ...they could have shown That Raima was his past and he knows nothing now abt her and Sonakshi comes in ...he falls in love with her ..they did nothing ...they showed him absolutely in love with Raima and when she came back ideally a person. Wud be extremely happy as this is a miracle but instead so easily they started a new story and Raima she was totally changed into a vamp

What I really mean is passionate love .when he looks at sona u can feel it ..he is like mesmerised ..

Bug with raima u dont feel like that ..it's more of friendly love ..he treats her some one SPECIAL .on top of that his never ending guilty feeling .that's why he has that watch

Some times too much of guilty feeling ..u confuse as love .

He was Introducjng raima to his parents that day of accident .surely she is soecism and he loves her

But that mesmerised feeling he did not have with her

Sona also loved her past BF .def otherwise why would she agree to marry him

But there also it's the same .she did not have that feeling she has towards Rohit that mesmerised passionate feeling .

Yes if they had shown much passion for long time for ronskshi like a year we could have understood that passion

But now we can only infer since they did not show it .

Veena herself tells Sona that Rohit loved Raima insanely. The day she met with an accident he wanted to formalise his relationship with her in front of his family. This is definitely not a friendly wala feeling. He was serious about her. We haven’t seen anything from their past much to decide how much he loved her but he cherished all the small moments he spent with her and he kept her things and treasured them for years. U don’t do that unless that person meant something to u. He also loves Sona passionately now but that would have made sense only if this change of heart for Rohit was more organic.

I so agree with u! Infact Rohit going Sona Sona was similar to Dany becoming the mad queen 😝 they should have shown Rohit to slowly fall for Sona and then maybe showed them to be in a relationship for a while before Raima entered. It was also so hurried I couldn’t even enjoy the moment he tells her he loves her. And trust me I have loved them so much I watched most of their scenes repeatedly. That Teejri episode where he is mesmerised by her, or that scene just before performing a surgery he hugs her and tells her he can’t lose a patient or even during Mhatre track there are so many such moments I loved. But this confession track followed by Raima’s entry and their wedding has ruined it all for me. I can only hope post wedding they show some sensible stuff.

The way he behaves with raima after coma ..does not make us feel his was passionate love with raima

He was in love with raima.but intensity is question mark

U will store their things even if there's no intensity ..even with guilt u do that

How can Veena tell about Rohit love ..he did not even introduce Raina to Veena before ac ident .Veena might have just heard about raima as Rohit GF .other family not even know raima .

.just bcis he was insanely searching for her Veena might have thought he is so crazy after raima .but guilt makes u do the same thing too.

If u remember that episode when Rohit first asks Sona for dinner he tells her he was a stud during college who used to flirt with all girls. But that changed after Raima came into his life. If he didn love her y didn he treat her like one of the many casual flings he had? and also in his flashbacks u can see he really loved her. Just because he was destined to be with Sona it doesn’t mean his love for Raima in the past was not true. Yes he was also dealing with guilt but it was weighed down by his love for her. It’s a ridiculous Bollywood theory that u fall in love only once. U might be destined to spend ur life with the chosen one but it doesn’t mean u could not have shared something special with another person in the past. Just because makers decided to show Raima in a bad light out of the blue it’s easy for everyone to say Rohit didn love her. Also where Karan is concerned Sona might or might not have loved him but her dedication towards that relationship was true. It was the pain of heartbreak that bound Ronakshi in the first place. If there was no love how come there was a heartbreak?

I both agree and disagree with you. I struggle with the same thing in Rohit's storyline of how quickly he moved on despite being stuck on Raima for so long. It wasn't organic. But I don't think he necessarily had to love her. For me it is more about the struggle that at least he thought he did or claimed that he did. And how did his guilt vanish when he knew Raima was still in a coma just because he realized he had feelings for Sona?

But I don't think you necessarily have to have love to have heartbreak. I think there can be forms of obsession or infatuation that are related to other areas of ego that can give you the same feeling of heartbreak. Broken but beautiful explores that a bit too.

When I say love, I am talking about feelings as opposed to a relationship. If u never had any kind of attachment towards a certain person how will they hold the power to break your heart? I have watched Broken but beautiful and I am a huge fan of that series. Veer and Sameera had loved their respective partners and hence their hearts broke after the relationship ended. Be it death in Veer's case or a breakup for Sam. Sam truly loved her ex which was y she was heartbroken but her ex had long since fallen out of love with her. Which is why he was perfectly OK to call that relationship off and move on. Here Rohit loved Raima and when she went to coma, he was shattered and his guilt for not being able to save her broke his heart. Sona had trusted Karan since he was her childhood friend and somewhere deep down she was hoping there would be a sense of security in that relationship owing to the comfort zone they were in but he too broke her heart. Sumit and Mahesh treated Sona badly. But their attitude only upset her but did not break her heart coz she was never bound to them in any way.

@ bold: I have seen this in real life where the heartbreak is not about the attachment to the person in of itself. In those situations it could be more about losing the fantasy of love or the shame of being rejected or not getting married. Wanting the person back wasn't about liking the person but wanting that feeling back to validate themselves. In that kind of situation if you get the person back you might realize you never really wanted them.

With Broken I was thinking of the scene where Sameera accidentally broadcasts her feelings. She acknowledges that what she felt for her ex was not love but something else. She realizes that in comparison to her feelings for Veer. And I think that is actually a lot more common that we think. A lot of times we are quick to label something love which may in fact be something else. Our attachment isn't necessarily to the person but to the idea of something that can fill our insecurities. A short term fix like an addiction is. With Sameera I think the oft repeated phrase: "you can't love someone else unless you love someone else" comes to mind.

With Raima and Rohit I am not sure what we are supposed to think because they didn't really explore it in depth. I could buy the idea that he didn't really love her but loved the idea of her. I think he said something like Raima was everything he looks for in a girl but she wasn't Sona. So fine I could accept the recognition of that difference. I could also buy that in the intervening 4 years he built up the relationship more in his head out of guilt. But where they lost me was how quickly he transitioned from Raima to Sona while as far as he knew Raima was still in a coma. If they wanted to play the guilt angle then either there should have been more conflict or by the time he was ready to confess to Sona we should have seen a more measured reaction to Raima's reappearance when indeed she was significantly better from what he last knew.
