i have heard many places seasons do not earn revenue as much as long running show's do. Which is why itv is apprehensive, example even after the successful run of Reporters, none came up.Our shows should have seasons, otherwise the leads get tired of acting in the same serials year after year.

that's why, because i read many years ago, one of the famous veteran producer had explained why limited Episode show's have to run at least 6 months to earn revenue. Which is why slowly they all did off with the weekly show's and shifted to reality shows with bit bollywood names every week, too as they don't earn revenue like they are to be no matter how great the content is.Originally posted by: Annu8193

Budget, broadcasting issues but biggest of all people are not ready to wait the entire week for one epi. They would rather move on. Binge watching is new which is why Webseries appeal to us not to older generation at whom the show's are targeted at.
