That was me last weekend. I was so upset over what happened that I couldn't stop crying in public. 😭

Well, thank goodness for small mercies. Minnie finally wanted HS as her bapu - at least I can hold on to that. She finally saw what he was and what he meant to her. She understood what kind of father she wanted in her life.

I started watching Mere Dad Ki Dulhan. Damn, Varun is such a marvelous actor and some of the scenes were really top-notch! So I will give it a try but not get emotionally invested in it like I did with PB.

I'm already hooked to some other show. But my policies for watching that one is something else so I won't recommend that to y'all.

I watched a couple of episodes of DadKiDulhan too. But now I think I'm incapable of handling father daughter stuff.

@bold, I totally get it.

For me it's the opposite. Watching this father-daughter will give me a hopeful feeling that PB failed to. It will give me a chance to see another side of life which I had so wanted to see in PB.

Perhaps it's like watching this show on the rebound, I don't know. LOL.

I need a distraction, for sure.

I've myself become indifferent to this. So I can totally get you.

My emotional defence mechanism stops me from watching the episode now.

I loved the optimism in the initial episodes so I'll be here.

I think all of us should get hooked to something else. PB hangover utaarna bohot important hai.

Yes!

I'm going back to my western shows so that I have a variety of something to watch. But tbh, my days just feel so empty without PB.

Hope ki AD ka show jaldi aa jaye. 🙏🏼

4th of Dec, but I'll try to log in to IF whenever I can. Seriously, this trip couldn't have come at a better time. I would have been a mess sitting at home alone during this time.

Perfect!

If we do 2 episodes a day, you'll be back in time for HS' dhain entry. 😎

Yeah, there will definitely be a void after the 20th. I hope his show is on soon, and until then I hope he keeps up his social media activity.

Yes, her using Haryanvi made me choke, and especially the words she chose, how she was just waiting for one little sign and she'd go running to him like daddy's little girl.

I also felt they were both actually crying again in that scene.

That's one consolation for me at least, that even if they couldn't express things to one another, Minnie finally accepted HS as her father. Ashok was nowhere in the scene, not in her heart or mind. That letter did not change her feeling for HS a bit, rather it gave her that clarity, finally woke her up in a way I didn't expect. Especially because I'm sure she's comparing HS and Babita in terms of their parenting now.

They were perfect!

It also showed how long she's been thinking about this. Getting the words just right, and speaking as if HS himself would say them. This letter just finally brought it all to the surface.

Also, the mere fact that it was HS who went upstairs to check on her or give some sort of explanation is everything in and of itself. HS, who thinks he has no rights over her, spoke a lot with his actions. Babita on the other hand, who is Minnie's MOTHER couldn't once go upstairs to check on her? Whose permission did she need?

THIS... it's all in his actions, even if words fail him.

But that made it even sadder for me - where once these two would have had a heart to heart, this time they just couldn't... When he was telling Babita that she had cut out and thrown away her jigar ka tukda, his words and agony were of his own feelings. He knows that Babita has finally destroyed what little chance they had of being a happy family and the way he marched off into his room made it clear that he didn't even want to bother discussing this further with her. She wouldn't get it.

I also love that he admitted his own failure to spot what was right in front of him, and even though he didn't voice it he regretted that it was in his obsession with the no more tears policy where Babita was concerned.

I don't know how he'll do it but he will stay married to her, literally until death does them part.

In all this, here's what I have to say:

Gur, I'm glad you're with me. Here, at the end of all things.
