I know they have started to ruin Babita's character for a while now, but its just done in such a nasty way that I don't feel like talking about the show or the characters or even bitching about the show. I am just so exhausted with everything. Everything just seems forced and just done for drama sake. Why wouldn't they show us Babita-Mini conversation on Friday? After everything, they don't even talk to each other and Mini just leaves? What the EFF? Even if Babita was a horrible mother (which I am sorry but is just forced at this point)... any mother after knowing that her daughter is going abroad, would go and have some conversation with her. What kinda BS is this? They show Babita keeps looking upstairs but doesn't go talk to her daughter? What the hell is the makers problem with Babita? Just to victimize Mini more and for Mini to come with past baggage, and for drama sake they are doing this. They are forcefully showing everything to rush towards Season 2. It makes no sense. The execution is horrible and forced.

HS's character was butchered more than Babita? Really? How? They redeemed everyone except Babita. HS's character was redeemed after Wednesday's episode and even his monologue on Friday. Babita ko aise hi limbo mein chod diya. What a horrible way to end one of the main character of the show.

I am sorry but I am done. I can't watch the first 180 episodes with the same excitement either. So, I don't think I will be participating in the rewatch either.

Sorry for bitching, but I have had it with this show. Peace.

I've myself become indifferent to this. So I can totally get you.

My emotional defence mechanism stops me from watching the episode now.

I loved the optimism in the initial episodes so I'll be here.

I think all of us should get hooked to something else. PB hangover utaarna bohot important hai.

Me too, the entire series was good. Also, I don't think people have the heart to watch the final episodes because it's just so damn painful.

How'd you feel about that voice-over scene on Friday? What's your take on it?

I loved it!

Performance wise it was great as usual. The dialogues were top notch, especially the ones for Minnie. Her using Haryanvi to express just how much she wants to be his daughter is just <3

Since we talked about souls for the terrace scene, it was their souls speaking in their bedroom. Both of them aching to be one another's but their physical limitations prevent them from doing so. Their bodies just couldn't gather up the energy to speak the words that their souls were crying out.

Fortunately, I'm traveling for a couple of weeks so being around friends and family is helping to distract me. I would have been a mess otherwise.

Gur, I'm counting on you to start the re-watch from Nov 25 on.

Aye aye madam! 😎

When will you be back?

Ohhh. I read Gur's update and I was shaking from within. I don't have it in me anymore to watch the episode.

Yeahh, Friday's episode deserved a full update. It was too well done.

I didn't visit the forum before watching the episode. I was at the airport so I downloaded the episode and watched part of it at the boarding gate and the rest on the flight. Big mistake. I cried on the flight and couldn't stop myself. God knows what the other passengers were thinking of me.

Aww Jean. 🤗

That was me last weekend. I was so upset over what happened that I couldn't stop crying in public. 😭

Yes, her using Haryanvi made me choke, and especially the words she chose, how she was just waiting for one little sign and she'd go running to him like daddy's little girl.

I also felt they were both actually crying again in that scene.

That's one consolation for me at least, that even if they couldn't express things to one another, Minnie finally accepted HS as her father. Ashok was nowhere in the scene, not in her heart or mind. That letter did not change her feeling for HS a bit, rather it gave her that clarity, finally woke her up in a way I didn't expect. Especially because I'm sure she's comparing HS and Babita in terms of their parenting now.

4th of Dec, but I'll try to log in to IF whenever I can. Seriously, this trip couldn't have come at a better time. I would have been a mess sitting at home alone during this time.

Seriously, hats off to his dedication and his caliber as a performer. What a brilliant way to bow out of the show, that even in the final week he's giving us such scenes. Uff!

Honestly!

While others in his situation may start giving 0%, he's literally putting in a 100 and then some. Once again, it shows how his loyalty lies to the craft of acting and not the dirty politics, fame, or TRP.

Seriously, hats off to you Aniruddh. 👏

He's going to go FAR with all this. I feel like what we've seen is the tip of the iceberg. I really really hope he begins to value himself more and I hope all the adulation helps him realize how much we love and respect his work. Knowing that should be a balm after what happened to him on this show.

After watching Aniruddh's work, I'm so spoiled that it will be very hard for me to accept even 'good acting' anymore. It has to be nothing short of brilliant for me to want to invest my time in it.

I started watching Mere Dad Ki Dulhan. Damn, Varun is such a marvelous actor and some of the scenes were really top-notch! So I will give it a try but not get emotionally invested in it like I did with PB.
