okay i honestly don't get why you all are making such a big deal of them throwing a party for katy perry or fangirling over her ...

of course they would not get the same treatment in the west because celebrities there don't follow bollywood movie or songs, due to lack of exposure or language barriers

whereas majority of these people are bilingual and can understand both hindi and english,at least they accept the fact that she is a bigger celeb and so they fan girl ... why you all act like you wouldn't do the same if your friend was throwing a party for a big star

Some people denying katy perry being a has been is just hilarious. Her last album which was a hit was back in 2013. Her last hit was dark horse back in 2013. Even roger waters, pink floyd member hosted a world tour which is bigger than any katy perry tour, that doesn't make him relevant in today's industry. He is legacy act. She is famous but that doesn't means she is relevant to today's scope of mainstream music. Celine dion new world tour is going to smash records but she is legacy act not current relevant act. Simple

Same for older movie stars. Today, likes of will Smith, julia roberts etc. Who are famous and known but not that relevant as big stars anymore.
