If we didn't know that HS was going to die we'd not have said 'how short the journey may have been', because in all honesty, I would think Minnie would come back into their lives at some point. I think the audience members who are not on IF or social media would have no idea that He would die (until they see the new promo) but there was something about this scene that had a finality to it that even those viewers cannot have missed, as if it were indeed farewell. Especially the way HS says no matter what happens you will always be my Veer Balika. That's the term he used for her since their first interaction and this might be the last time.

I don't know why but it personally felt as a proper goodbye catering to all those people who've followed Hannie's journey....

Also, for him and now his other daughter, Mini will remain Veer Balika. It's almost bittersweet.

HS and Mini have their reconciliation. They understand each other. Attuned and fit perfectly. So what is Babita in between them? Just a prop? Use Mother as just a prop in Father - Daughter bond? This woman’s role was just to pop out 2 daughters? Is that why I was watching this show?

agree even after all this they could still have shown mini going to study. She has already accepted the fact that if babita is happy loosing her work and identity so let her be she cannot do anything about it. Babita wants to go with HS to remote village so if mini goes to australia to study it will be a good thing for her. At this stage even if mini leaves she is going not exactly happy & will have unresolved issues but still she will go with her parents blessings. But they are going to send her away on a more worse bad note such that she will not even visit her parents for 5 years and maybe even not keep in touch for those years. That is cruelty.

And HS mini ke reconciliation ka kya fayda when they are going to send mini off without visiting or keeping in touch with each other for 5 years. It is going to be even more painful for mini & HS

It was much later they realized audience rooting for father-daughter relationship and Babitha was left out in their dynamics. They wanted to bring Babitha in the middle and show her grow emotionally while balancing relationships. Then suddenly they wanted to bring a new season with Mini and she needed some dark past . So all the character butchering. Otherwise I don't see any reason for Babitha turning so regressive ( though she was less mature emotionally , she wasn't regressive. Else she won't have given Mini this much freedom) and HS accusing Mini of all the people.

I so second this... When NBT went with the trp tactics game with the bigamy they lost its essence... But soon after recovered finely when audiences chucked it away and the makers dared to accept that they went wrong. Here KK is so full of themselves that they don't wish to accept what is right and wrong and just concentrate on one character. NBT truly balanced each and every character. And if I now see how the makers have turned HS I feel MB was very very well treated by the makers. They didn't sacrifice him for anyone.

Exactly. Send Mini away on a good note. But then how would they justify Mini not being in touch and Arya not knowing her sister in person.

To me they planned all 3 dynamics well. Mini - Babita fighting for survival. HS - Mini uplifting Babita and urging her to go ahead, like coach. And HS - Babita teaming up when Mini fell prey to Manmeet case, depression and later on hospitalized.

Things went haywire. I saw fine balance of all 3 relationships and that’s what I loved about PB. It never about one person or one particular bond.

@bold — they have still redeemed HS. his dialogues make sense. Mini is their lead going forward. Babita got the worst end of the stick. For past 2 months she hasn’t had Single stand out scene. Her dialogues are worst than Khuranas and Khatri. Even if she is acting the way she is, there is no retrospect on her thoughts and mentality. And they will send Mini away on a bitter note with her mother. HS stuck in a loveless Marriage. It’s horrible. This was not something I fell in love with. Manne maaf karo. 🙏 hath jode manne makers ke.
