The idea seemed cliched after I spared it a thought. So that's why I didn pen it down 😆 Here it goes:
Owing to the media exposure the whole fake wedding track got, Waseem and Harsh force AdiYa to get married. Harsh handles the fake murder case orchestrated by Rajveer and gets him expelled from the police force. AdiYa are not willing to get married but owing to the mess they had created in the first place, they agree but decide to get separated once everything cools down. They get married but their families know the marriage is just a farce. Adi is completely broken after reading Pooja's diary. Here in my version Pooja was never pregnant. Not with Adi neither Yash's baby. He gets to know how he was so self centered he ignored her likes and dislikes, never realising he pushed her to a zone where she felt lonely despite being surrounded by people. While AdiYa are firm their spouses wronged them by cheating on them they also acknowledge their fair share of mistakes which led to their former spouse fall out of love with them. Zoya though heartbroken would have embraced this truth owing to her forgiving nature but Adi who would have first struggled through hatred is now sinking deep in guilt. Unbeknownst to their own feelings they begin to feel a pull towards each other. From strangers they move on to being friends who care for each other while being cognizant of each other's space. Adi clears his pilot exam and resumes his job back as a pilot and Zoya is managing Zosh. While Zoya is able to free herself from her pain, Adi is still trying to grapple with his emotions. But he feels a strange sense of calm engulf him everytime he is with Zoya. Soon this bond of friendship evolves into something deeper and though they can feel it deep down in their heart neither of them want to acknowledge. Zoya because she doesn't want to ruin their bond of friendship and Adi coz he believes he will never be good enough for Zoya. And Arshad's entry cements it for him. Here Arshad is Zoya's childhood friend a son of Waseem's old friend. Adi senses how Zoya feels relaxed around Arshad and there are times when it drives him insane with jealousy. But even then he does not want to admit he loves Zoya. On the eve of Pooja's bday he starts to feel depressed thinking of his past and his conflicting emotions for Zoya. He gets drunk and is barely able to process his own surroundings. Zoya is shattered to see him in this state and comforts him. Adi bares his soul out before her telling her about his parents past, how Pooja's friendship kept him sane through those years and expresses his guilt for not understanding her feelings and tells her probably she should leave him too before he breaks her heart. Zoya vows that she will never leave him and in that vulnerable moment Adi gets intimate with Zoya. After they consummate their marriage, Zoya is basking in happiness and she finally accepts her love for Adi. But Adi feels guilty and blames himself for not keeping his emotions in check and apologises to Zoya. Though heartbroken Zoya does not tell him anything. After that night Adi begins to distance himself from Zoya. Sakshi meanwhile notices the shift in AdiYa's relationship and realises Zoya loves Adi and she also senses Adi too loves her but his past is holding him back. Zoya thinks that if Adi only wants them to be friends she is more than fine with it. On the eve of their first wedding anniversary, Zoya prepares his favourite dishes planning to surprise him and the same day Arshad comes over to their home to have a chat with Zoya regarding organizing an event for his hospital. Adi misunderstands the whole situation and assumes Zoya had planned a date with Arshad. He is angry at first and has a big fight with Zoya who is confused and hurt at his beahviour. Adi then reaches the conclusion that maybe Zoya is trapped in this marriage and he should set her free if she indeed loves Arshad. Since he does not want to repeat the same mistake he made with Pooja. On the other hand Zoya gets to know she is pregnant and though she is thrilled she is also hesitant as she doesn't know how Adi will react. Sakshi too gets to know about this and she encourages Zoya to share this news with Adi. And knowing Adi she is sure he will be happy too. Zoya decides to surprise him and wears a white saree since he loves white. Adi on the other hand gets the divorce paper ready and he also decides to make Zoya the sole owner of Zosh. Zoya is devastated when Adi suggests they get divorced but she doesn't protest and neither does she tell him about the baby. She leaves the Hooda mansion and moves back to her penthouse that is now vacant. Sakshi offers to talk to Adi but Zoya tells her not to since she doesn't want Adi to stay in a forced marriage. She tells Sakshi that Adi too deserves love and loyalty and maybe she could not give him that but she is unable to bring herself to sign the papers. Days pass and Zoya is living all by herself and running Zosh and this takes a toll on her health. On the other hand Adi is miserable too but he convinces himself he did the right thing by setting Zoya free and hopes she is happy with Arshad. She overhears him talking to Arjun and realises the real reason y Adi left her was because he doubted her of infidelity. She confronts Adi and blasts him for letting his insecurity cloud his senses to such an extent that he is no longer able to see the truth for himself. Later Sakshi confronts Adi and makes him realise Zoya loved him and also tells him that though he could not have faith in himself Zoya believed in him but he could never believe in his own love. She also reveals about the pregnancy. Adi realises how stupid he had been all this while and decides to bring her back.

Mandy, I loved some part of it and didn't like some🙈
I loved families asking them to continue the drama, I loved the slow progression in their relationship, I loved adi being in guilt and trying to set her free n all...this was very much needed in the show. Oh yeah...adi being pilot again too!!!
But I didn't like them consummating their marriage when he was not in his senses...adi wouldn't do that🙈 and if he did, I wouldn't like him not to acknowledge it the next day...adi was man enough not to run away from him even if he was guilty!🙈 And I didn't like Zoya thinking adi doubted her of infidelity, he didn't, cuz in first place, adi didn't consider that she belongs to him...for him, it was still a drama, so she had a right to freedom n he gave her that, that's it. I would have liked if Zoya rather confronted her for repeating the same mistakes their partners did, that is not communicating and asking her what she wants and deciding for both of them. Sorry, this reminded me of their ugly ran sita fight and that was pukeworthy for me, so I got a bit more possessive for adiya in Ur story🙈 and on paper I liked adi-sakshi bond, but didn't like mallika and sakshi's nautanki aansu in the show😂 I loved spicy crazy Anjana more😂 so I would have loved to have Anjana in place of Sakshi, but that's okay.
