So he can go find her in 5 years' time and then she can recount what she has been doing all this time as she reunites with everyone in Patiala - then everything is told in flashback.

I am just so sad HS never got to be her father. I hope we get a scene of him being heartbroken as she leaves if it's on bitter terms or still upset if it's on good terms.

Well HS will get to raise and be a father to his kid for 5 years. Better than nothing I guess.

They need something for S2. Something for Mini to do. This will be the trigger.

Unless both Hanita died after 5 years, and their kid is all alone in Patiala. Mini gets the news, imagines HS urging her to go back and take care of the kid, she goes back and takes responsibility of the kid.

yes i actually right now dont care if babita mini reconcile or not. But mini - HS please. It was not exactly HS fault for burning the letter He was actually giving it to her at her insistence. If HS -mini mu and separate it would be too heartbreaking for both of them. i certainly dont want HS to die with that pain and mini to live with that pain

He said that in an interview some time before he signed this show but later on he said he took this role up because the material was so strong it helped change his mind.

I know most of us hate what happened to HS' character, but I would say for ITV standards, AD has been lucky to get some amazing dialogues and scenes to work with - he's been able to show a wide range of emotions. In some ways, his work as HS can serve as a 200+ episode-long audition for upcoming roles: comedy, tragedy, anger, passion, action.
