I dunno but a film needs to be made solely on the coaching frauds that happen for JEE. How they manipulate you, and there are no back ups. And you feel cornered by everything.

Talk to Akshay Kumar or Amir Khan. They will surely be interested in making a movie on this.

Agree. After every Indian child is born Maa aur Paa dono bolenge mera beta/beti engineer banega/banegi.

Waah! At the end of the day, even being in science requires to understand commerce. Without commerce, this world does not prosper. At the end of the day, even engineers contribute towards the National Income of the country which involves 'money'. And even today, many engineers are jobless. So people need to think that our country is getting overpopulated by engineers. And please to all those parents who insist their children in going into this field, because it's your wish, I understand as a parent you may have many hopes. But, please dont spoil a child's future by forcing them to go against their wishes....

Not degrading Science, but this is a fact. Commerce and Humanities need more power...

My kid is in 10th std now. And also very bright in studies. He wants to pursue science but long back he has decided not to pursue both jee and neet exams. He has always said he wants to pursue something different. I always tell him to pursue whatever that will give him happiness and does not stress him out.

When I finished school in my country everyone was telling me to do coding or law school. Nowadays you can pave the road with unemployed programmers and lawyers who then have to work in other fields or try to go abroad.

Good counseling has to be prepared home before actually going in there, cause you have to know what you like doing, what your capabilities are and what type of person you are (e. G rather a 9-5er who likes being told what to do or rather the risk-taker entrepreneur type). Without considering all these noone can really give you options and there is no way of clearing all these questions with an unknown counselor if you are not prepared...

Very good. JEE Advanced ka lollipop sirf door se hi accha lagta hai.

I fell for it myself, even my parents were like beta tujhe jo karna hai kar. But I'm so proud your son took a stand 👍🏼

Karne ko bohot kuch hai, bass one should never feel ki mujhe yahi karna hai bass. Keep back ups and be daring enough to change directions if you feel you can't.

All you can really do as a parent is probably to help children explore their (realistic) options. That also just cause they are young and might have missed some pieces of information.

Yes exactly

I was given full reigns of my life. And I couldn't handle it. And I wasn't sensible enough to decide what to choose and can I do it or not.

Also parents should monitor the studies even if they don't understand the technical part. Ki kaisa jaa raha hai, how much are you scoring etc. Had it not been for my Mom who forced me to shift to State level exams I would've been a dropper.

Yes! Supportive life experience is important. Another thing I see often is students studying a subject cause they liked it at school but they have no clue about the actual jobs they could do once finished. Known quite a few people who studied a subject to become a teacher and since no one told them to do internships only after finishing did they realise that in fact the hate the teaching part in practice....

Just heard a dialogue in another show:

India mein har aurat apne husband ko credit card ki tarah use karti hai. 🤣

Koi HS ko ye ja kar bolo.
