I think its like this. When Himanshi told him to calm down Shukla snapped instantly..as he always does. Then he realised that was a mistake. He tried to fix it by calling her 'rani' so that "main tumhara ghulam nahi hoon '" would look like a joke. Then he made up for rhyming shit. Himanshi was glaring at him ready for a fight but his stupid poem sort of fixed it. Going by how uncouth Shukla is..I would say he dealt with that well..to the best of his fked up ability lol.
