I watched it and he didn't mean about prachi when he said that. Basically rhea misunderstood the reason for his anger and unintentionally gave him a reason to explain to himself why he was bothered seeing prachi being friendly with sanju other than jealousy so he latched on to that explanation provided by rhea and convinced himself he truly was only bothered by sanju-prachi because he needs to impress prachi to be able to be with rhea. So basically ranbir is in the denial mode of love right now, which always happens.

He was absent-minded at that moment and it totally looked like he was talking abt him and prachi. Even my mom said that and she doesn't even watch the show.

Oh it looked like to me. When will he come out of his denial mode though and accept the fact that he likes prachi? I am getting tired of seeing him never acknowledging his jealousy.

Then it's possibly a mix of both. The part when he said that was just denial for jealousy and wanting and excuse to deny, then the part when he said he needs to get rid of sanju was more so for prachi. 😳

I'm not sure but ranbir has stepped into the first stage of love which is denial, which is one of the biggest phases, the phase where you feel attraction, act upon it, but take a step back and refuse to realise the reason for your feelings and look for alternative explanations apart from love.
