I suppose Sonakshi is just unconscious not burnt .. Mahesh must have started the fire and then saved her to appear hero type and gain everyone's trust

She is just unconscious.. Mahesh did become the hero by saving Sona..

They got married for sure.. This was the exact scene.. as soon as she comes out of bathroom her room's light starts flickering and then her room catches fire..she keeps shouting for her mom her brother but nobody comes.. She hurts her leg and after that she faints and then Mahesh saves Sona and carries her out of the room at the same moment Pulkit enters and tries to diffuse the fire.. I didn't saw Suman, Muniya or Pari in all this..
