Makers could have told the same story as now without nikkah angle but alas! this is a drama.

My mother and I were discussing that still in some parts of the world, a girl's marriage is the only priority. not education or self-identity. I know this is an exaggerated drama but still, saher would not be in this position if she had a stronger self identity. just something to think about.

This show does not seem all that interesting but I'm looking forward to Zamin and Saher. they are cute and I hope zamin is not as spineless as imran's other characters.

Saba Faisal is doing a brilliant job and her intense hatred of Seher and Aijaz Ahme dis nicely portrayed.

I enjoyed how Seher questioned Zamin's father as to why he pressurized Zamin to do what he never wanted to do and why he put him in a difficult position .

Munaiza is too confusing of a character, she seems nice with Seher, but with Rabia, she starts to influence her, I am unable to understand Munaiza .

I don't think Aijaz Ahmed would have cheated, there is a misunderstanding and AIjaz was misunderstood to cheat on his first wife and Rabia does not know about the truth.

Also, how Zamin's father is hiding so many truth, he will escape, but poor Seher will have tp face the consequences, he has been responsible for every confusion taking place and eh should have not brought Seher here when eh knew Ravia does not like her.

Zamin should not hold grudges with Seher as she never wanted to get married with him and eh should not blame her for his troubles as his father told him to get married and Seher never even knew if he was married.

It would've been more realistic and beautiful😃

I can relate to that. When Hareem kept asking Sehar how could she agree to marry a guy whom she doesn't know.. Seher told her that it is the way the matters happen in many middleclass families where the girls are obident and agree to the desicions which are made by parents. 😔 I agree with you , thar education angle is very important. But Seher was shown teaching the children which means that she was educated , but didn't have a job. I think having a job isn't a priority there , because many families consider it a big no unless the family is in need of money and have no male to support them financially.🤔

This show does not seem all that interesting but I'm looking forward to Zamin and Saher. they are cute and I hope zamin is not as spineless as imran's other characters.

It is clear that Imran will be spinless first , but will have a change of heart later .😃

Things that I don't agree with Pakistani dramas include this cliche about working women being bad mother's or highly educated girls don't marry in arranged marriage system. So may be I lived in india where education was major priority and job after that normal and so was arranged marriage. No one had to quit job after marriage. Am sure it is same in Pakistan but dramas have cliches.

From sehar point of view I think she can support herself but her older taya is so right when he talks about perils of our shareef society. How many times have I seen people talking about dark lipsticks and widows...it's tragic reality.so her staying there makes sense but I agree about her father should have stopped the marriage but I feel he trusted his brother to do right by his daughter.

I hope taya does that.

I too, can't trust dramas in portraying the reality. But even here in my country : Yemen . You'll see ppl in different places sporting different styles of life. I live in a city where worker women are respected and more preffered as wives. But in my hometown which is very far from here, women can study but they get married at a very young age , sometimes 14 of 15. Women who go to work are only those whom got married to poor men, or those girls who grew without getting married. They can get married later to married or divorcee men .🤔

That taya is a disappointment, he kept saying I'll handle the situation..but what did he do? ..nothing.😔

Ya true villages and city differences are totally there,am so happy to hear about Yemen-- I have learnt something new...

See am sure in real life there can be bad mothers even in a village and woman who is forever running around from home to work to home can be a best mother..I would love for pakistani drams to stop showing that.

Also people who are very modern and do party a lot can still be able to balance life and be good parents as life and people don't stay same always..

And about the Taya I think he keeps deferring the problems and even Sehar feels her uncle has forgotten that she is here.Only reason he got her cell phone fixed was to call those friends and stop the phone calls to Zamin so he wont be reminded of poor sehar and her plights....both he and his wife have good intentions but they are not brave enough to counter the cruelty ,hopefully zamin will...so am looking forward...

I am a fan of Indian movies since a long time, I came here for an Indian drama, then a friend suggested me a Pakistani drama. I find Urdu easier than Hindi coz it has many Arabic words. The culture is almost the same, that's why I am hooked to Pakistani dramas.😃
