He did always say that if something happened to her, he would look after Minnie. But what kind of life would he have without Babita? Minnie will grow up and do her own things and he will be alone. He quit drinking and Lala's getting married.

And I don't expect him to run PB in Babita's memory. No matter how much they stretch their imagination I can never believe that HS can do this without burning food everyday.

there isnt much to show so PB even if leap happens will be ending in max 4-6 months

I would have never started watching the show if Aniruddh wasn't there. I still visit the forum, read updates and even watch HS scenes only for him .
