Wow!! She’s completely missing the point here. She’s acting like the spoiled entitled fair skinned Nawab granddaughter who’s never faced such prejudices in her life so she doesn’t get it. Or she’s purposely acting obtuse because she thinks it makes her seem cool and confident.

I can’t believe she simplified the entire issue of bias and prejudices against dark skinned girls with talks about bronzer or white powder. Seriously?!!

She doesn't even have a basic understanding of what she's talking about. That PR mask is slowly cracking. Soon she'll start making WTF statements like her stepmom.

What exactly should she have said to please mighty IFians

First Lady asked about going to beaches getting tanned n blah she replied spray paint urself if want tan or put some powder if u want to be fair.. She did not discriminate or make stupid statement.

When asked about prejudicsm over colour she said she doesn't think there should be discrimination and at the end of the day it's all about urself u should feel it first.. That's what it is... She gave smart reply n did not make a WTF statement at all bt now IF bakra gang will baa baa without even watching it

Go Saru❤️

Her reply about bronzer n powder was to going to beach and looking good stuff.. If you want tan go for bronzer n if u want fairer put some powder it doesn't matter what color u are? What else should she be saying? I pity u are black?

She did say there shouldn't be discrimination n the other person talked shadi nahi hogi blah.. She did say at the end its you n what you think that matters.. What else she should be saying?

Again, she missed the point. The girl who asked the question even gave it a context by saying earlier there was a discussion about Fair and Lovely. It was about a larger cultural problem of darker girls not feeling as confident or as beautiful. At its core the issue was bigotry. Family and community and society’s bigotry against dark skin and favor towards light skins. I think that’s a lot deeper than just saying oh just have your confidence inside of yourself, or however she worded it. Her answer at best was idiotic and at worst tone deaf and insulting.

I didn't find anything wrong in what she said. I don't know what exactly she should have said to please people. Kuch b bol lo, koi na koi to offend ho hi jayega.
