Forget about India ..even in USA ..NO alimony clause prenups r invalid except in Nevada state ..

Don't script writers do basic Google when they plan to include some thing such as this which is so important

Also what's this funny prenup which is between FIL and bride 😆

When prenup has zero validity in India showing it execution able in India is one of the most illogical and stupid thing IMO but unfortunately there have bee so many films and shows which show this in India. The show is set in Mumbai India not USA. So a prenup here makes no sense atall what ever the clauses may be.

Got it ..but atleast they should show it some what better way like bride groom signing it and with alimony clauses

Yes prenup is invalid but atleast we would have thought it as not a laughing stock

How come it's so one sided and biased

They say no alimony when divorced ..

And according to law no alimony pre nups r invalid

Also agreement should be signed between bride and groom not bride and FIL lol

Makers just claiming realistic is not enough ..just follow simple basics and should not do blunders when intro concept like prenups

FL is acting like parvathi ..she is no more Sona

O

Correct prenup is between bride and groom, don't know whether it is legal with anyone else.

They show contract marriages in so many Indian shows and movies. Are they legal in India?

No they are not lawful. Any contract that has marriage as consideration is not enforceable in Indian law.

what a one sided prenup. what about separation/divorce due to Rohit's fault like his infidelity or psychological trauma due to some MU? In that case too Sona wouldn't be compensated for her contribution to the marriage?

A girl stands to lose more in a marriage, she will never get back her prime, be it body shape/beauty - men become attractive as they go into their 30s or even 40s & innocence in the psychological sense, i.e, marriage makes one to become more cynical & lose the guileless innocence we have when we are unmarried & in our prime. Dunno if I'm making sense.
