It's similar to how tall ML teases shorter FL with tumhara haat nahi pohchega, I'll do it or using some actor's mole or such personal trait for the character. This is same as prerna teasing anurag to join the gym and build muscles🤷 Tab wo sabko funny laga tha toh idk what has changed now, maybe because a woman's weight or beauty is being trolled? Maybe I don't understand ur concerns😅

Sorry for bringing this back again. I know you guys discussed it yesterday and I do agree with you when you said looks are petty things to take offense too.

Like hope said, I am also on the fence when it comes to Komo's dialogues. She is supposed to be this mean woman and such comments coming from her is natural but I don't find them funny. IMO such dialogues can be avoided because it kind of nomalises body shaming especially in a country where women are burdened more with having to look "beautiful". Beauty standards are set high for us compared to men. Say for example, a matrimonial site. When you check it - the demand is always for fair skinned, slim, beautiful girls whereas for men I have rarely seen demands for gym bodies😆For men it is mostly a 6 or 7 digit salary(The more the better😆) .There will be exceptions, ofcourse! I am taking about the general picture. I believe that is why the part in bold didn't offend some of us then but what Kom said did. Body shamming does affect a person's self esteem. Unfortunately a good majority of the people who face it (even in the form of jokes) everyday are not thick skinned. I am quite sensitive to this. I don't make nor enjoy body shaming/age shaming jokes. I don't call Mohini buddhiya..I never called Bajaj uncle in spite of disliking the character ...I always address the trp audience as trp audience .But that is just me...I am not saying this is wrong or that is wrong.😊Everybody is entitled to their opinion. 👍🏼

I 100% agree with you! Maybe I am also a little sensitive since I am overweight and have been trying to lose weight for many years so I do take a bit of offense when people make jokes about weight whether it is fat or thin jokes (like Bharti making fun of Eri on KKK)

Aaj ke mukhya samachar

"Anurag feels uncomfortable when Komolika hugs him while Prerna decides to take up a new job. Later, the Sharmas gear up to renovate their old house."
