they want to show children of divorced parents like mini are doomed. Ek to she never had fathers love because ashok stayed away and after he left babes their relation deteriorated more. they were literally left with nothing to survive. Got up in life with HS support. But her mother got married again and mini couldnt adjust with being dependent on her mothers husband. She couldnt accept HS as her father because of the bad relation she had with her father. Her so called biological father walks back into her life and she looses Babes & HS for whatever reason they are going to show. And again she will be left even more alone with no family to call her own. They basically want to show children of divorced parents & after that 2nd married parents are doomed to feel incomplete. Because they feel complete with neither family not with the mothers 2nd married family not with their fathers 2nd married family.

And yes mini deserves all this for hurting a kind soul like HS by not accepting him as her father and family. By not accepting to shift her financial responsibility to HS from babes. not accepting that her mother immerses herself in HS love and looses her financial independence and identity.

I know what you're saying makes total sense but after reading this post I feel like it's such a shame that Minnie will indeed miss out on having a family that is loving and caring without conditions. The fact that she may never realize it until it's too late is even more painful. Sigh... If that's the angle they are going for then the execution really does leave a lot to be desired.

Phir bhi itna negative karne ki koi zaroorat nahin thi. It was possible to show adjustment issues and hurdles without painting things as black. On top of that, Minnie's exposure to this second marriage won't even last very long so where will she get the time to learn and grow over time? Abhi to HS, NB, aur Lala ne usse bas sikhaana hi shuru kiya tha. She has so much to learn in terms of idealism vs. realism.

Phir to babita ne bhi HS ka pyar accept nahi kiya tha starting me. does that also qualify as not respecting HS love. If one person is taking time to name a relationship that dosent qualify as not respecting.

In all this pressure of accepting father daughter relationship, mini HS have lost a lot of whatever good relation they had between them.First HS put pressure on mini by doubting her on CD incident, then Babita put pressure on HS for not being minis dad. Abhi everything got messed up instead of taking its natural course.

Natural course lene ka time CVs dein tab na. Shaadi bhi jaldi jaldi mein hui, aur uske baad se to beda hi gharak hua.

He might have made mistakes, but in this I can't find fault with him.

Regarding him accepting ashok in minis life, somewhere HS himself has had a bad past with his father yet he was not able to hate him for it. He somehow understands minis condition. These dynamics of past relations + new relations are common in a 2nd marriage. Babita wants to get away from them but HS is mature & he understands its not possible

I think his main struggle was in having to confirm to the idea of a father that Babita had, rather than letting him be who he was. He was doing a great job from the beginning without trying so hard or trying to prove anything.

Also, totally agree about HS understanding Minnie's point of view because of his own past but I think he would have understood anyway because of his maturity. That's why even if things hurt him, he is able to accept them.
