Yes I am! MBBS though just finished my final year.

Hey Hi, Sorry to know you went through this. Hair loss is a terrible thing coz it affects confidence badly. Do you mind sharing what helped eventually?

Depends on the people. I hate it when poeple resort to such factors. There are some who don't mind, some do in retaliation too. Boils down what kind of people you are dealing with.

Well I think what kick-started my hair loss was colouring my hair 3 times in the span of 4 months especially when I already reacted badly to bleach itself.

Secondly I went vegan for 2 years and had lost 5-6 kgs through unhealthy/ calorie deficit diet. I was eating 800 calorie diet some days.

So I changed all that. I ate chicken, eggs and dairy every single day. Never colored my hair. Took iron supplements because my iron profile test showed that was my ferritin level was 18 which was in the 'range' but we need over 70 for hair to stop from falling out and growing back in. My iron was in a good range but my storage form of iron i.e. ferritin was very low. For external treatment I started using mustard oil mixed with moringa and kept it on overnight.

Also my dad went bald in his 20s so I thought it was mainly genetic but losing 100s of hair everyday may be caused by other things as well. And it was for me. I would also like to mention that I lost my hair continuously for over 2.5 years no matter what I did but my diet was slowly making me better. Now I lose only 2-3 strands on wash days and almost no hair even when I brush my hair with the big ass brush that I own.

Thank you for sharing all of this. Guess diet plays a major role.
I am lactose intolerant and have been off milk for atleast 2 years now. I have also noticed an increase in hair fall for quite some time now like 10-20 strands a day and it goes exponentially high on wash days which worries me a lot. 2-3 srands a day sounded like a dream to me, which is why I asked.

Not everyone likes shaming people for der shortcomings that's not in their control.

I don't like Sana .....but I hv never commented on her physical appearance. Disliking someone ...... Doesn't necessarily mean having to comment of physical attributes. Most people who dislike Sana is cause of her behaviour and her personality.

I am in the same category as you, and I never allow anyone to touch my hair.
