1) Basu family went to police to search for Anurag which means the media would have picked it up considering Basu family are an influential and wealthy one. Anything like a missing son will be on the news along with his photo.

2) Prerna was about to be in a forceful marriage but Anurag still didn't marry her because of it. He has to be in love to want to marry someone without his parent's blessing/permission and even then, it was important for him to get those for his and Prerna's wedding.

So obvious logic is being ignored by the writers which is painful. The writers have made the Basus really dumb to accommodate their lazy writing.

Anyway, I heard Mohini might go for a social marriage for Sonolika and Anurag. I hope Prerna sits in the mandap like Naveen's wife did in the first track and tricks everyone. After when this new Anurag applies sindoor to Prerna's maang after the saat pheraas, everyone will be gobsmacked and treated to Sonolika being exposed.

Finally Anurag and Prerna would be married then. 😆
