Meeta doesn’t have to come along just for a visit. They will just say she couldn’t coz of little baby. Ashok came to see his parents and Mini. Problem solved.

Babita won't buy him a ticket this time since she is a housewife, so he can't travel to India. 🤪

Ok I seriously don’t understand Mini’s logic. She doesn’t want a gift from Babita because thet would have been bought from HS’s salary. So, let’s say HS was her real dad, and Babita was a housewife, would she have not accepted the gift even then because that wouldn’t have been bought from Babita’s money either🤪

Loll, but that was their situation before. Babita used to be a housewife and Ashok used to send the money. I guess Minnie doesn't want a repeat of that again? 😕

That's the whole point, he is not her 'real' dad, whatever that means.

Yeah, it's disgusting. Especially if Minnie accepts Ashok's money.

Sadly, that is often the case with divorced fathers. BTW today I heard a story first hand which is truly sad bt at the same time totally mind-blowing... Stepfather who raised child since he was 1 fighting for custody with biological father (who was left by the mom and did keep in contact with the child) and doesn't have much hope to win.

Oh my gosh, that's horrible!

Mostly around me I haven’t seen fights. It’s mainly from my gen that both partners started working. Up until then majority ladies were housewives. It’s forever established that whatever man earns, is for whole family.

Also, when both work and earn one might not really need to discuss money that way, but discussions arise about time. Who is managing what, who is picking up the kids, etc. So if there is not a basic understanding that all are in it together, there will be discussions.
