Oh I hated how she had to ask him to apologize. She shouldn’t have to. Also, whole thing became about her ego, just ruined the scene for me.

I feel like it was at this point that things started to go really bad. It's often the moment I come back to when I write. There's just something really off and ugly about the whole thing.

For me it's become time pass. Something that I watch with half an attention span and let run in the background while I work on something else.

It's a shame that things have come down to this.

Pb wont show excessive romance so there would be no problem regarding that ..That's is why her parents might have agreed

Yup! After Paraya mard episode, Imarti track started and it went downhill from there. Literally Babita's character growth became stagnant post Imarti track. Writers could have done so much with her charter and show further emancipation and all, but alas 😒.

I loved HS's backstory and HS-Mini bond (till proposal), but I really wanted to see Babita's emancipation and empowerment journey. Whats the point of her journey, if writers are just gonna make her a housewife now

But mostly here justified HS that time and were not disappointed with the twist...Later Babes char went downhill so🤢

I am sorry but I don't understand how Ashnoor's parents are allowing her to play a 23 year old, when she's just 15 🤔... like she's not even 18 yet, eeks. Though, I am not gonna be watching S2, I am so uncomfortable with the thought of her portraying a role of a young adult. There will be love and romantic angles and stuff, I don't know how her parents are letting her do this. I wish they would cast a new actor to play an adult Mini.

Hmm, it's tricky.

On one hand, it's completely her and their choice. If they want to carry on with it, then that's completely on them and they'll have to be ready to deal with the consequences of it.

On the other, Minnie will be 23. They will have to introduce a love track for her because that's the age that people generally start forming or at least seriously start thinking about their romantic relationships. If they don't show this, then what will they show for S2?

They didn't want to focus on the love life of a 30+ woman even though it would have been a VERY compelling story. They just neglected her desires and any issues that may have sprung as a result of intimacy was thrown away like it was nothing. Okay, we took it.

Are they really going to do the same for a woman in her early twenties? Are they going to put her romantic life aside, depsite knowing just how complicated her perspective on love is? If yes, then I don't know what they plan to show post leap.

(Also, if they give Minnie a love story despite claiming that the show isn't for a love story... then loll, we've all been made.)

Oh I didn't justify him. I still think that comment was out of line and below the belt even if his intentions might have been right. I am sorry I can't justify him on that.

Lot of people at that time bashed Babita for asking him to apologize. I didn't agree with that. I thought she was correct to ask him for apology. In fact she shouldn't have to.

Babita's character after that sure went downhill because makers made it all about her ego and what not. 🤪

Exactly, it also depends on how that romance is shown. If it's like the other shows then cringe galore, if it's standard PB style, then it can be quite cute.
