He did the same with Imarti too where he would purposely fight with her so that she'll agree to get the operation done.

...In case of Babita he never even explained why he bahaved like that both times...It might leave scar on other person but Babita let it go both times...

Man, Babita the next morning just floored me with the strength she displayed. It was nothing overt or in your face. It was all quiet and solid but still so electric! And the words she imparted onto Minnie about women being more than their body parts? It ALWAYS stays with me. It's truly one of the best lines that I have ever heard from ITV.

And that's why it's just weird to see the current state, as though it were two different shows.

When you all were talking about HS' quiet confidence in his love, I wasn't sure how to respond to it but this is it!

HS was a MAN about it. Not once did he resort to cheap gimmicks, force his love onto Babita or ever harass her in any way for not paying attention to him. He lived his life and remained who he was. I think that's the most important thing about him because yes, he fell in love with Babita, but his love never shook the core characteristics of who he was. He was still steadfast on his principles and values, still took immense pride in his job, and still was drew the lines when he felt he was being taken advantage of.

I miss him so much. 😭😭😭

He showed what it really means to wait for the one you love to really give her the time and the space to be ready for you, and to keep your eyes and ears open. Yes, he was confident about his feelings but he was also alert and listening to all the unspoken messages from Babita, observing her body language. He knew when she started opening up to him, craving his company, and then falling in love with him, but he never became a mindless, insensitive lover.

This is how I choose to remember him and I will ignore the failed writing in later episodes.

It will be a LONG time before we get another ML anywhere close to this. At present I'd say Akshat Jindal comes in second for me, but that's a whole other type of character and story.

Exactly, that beast in him peeked out from time to time, something he always acknowledge he had inside him. Only Imarti could understand and handle it, though.
