She also got some great dialogues which few actresses on ITV get. She got to sport a natural look rather than the overly made up one.
It's really the last 35-40 episodes where things went nuts, and all three characters took a hit because of that. The experience she had on this show will help her in her next projects, I'm sure.
To be honest, her character was really well written and had a great scope for further development up until the Imarti track, and then everything went haywire. Paridhi depicted Babita really well too up until that track, and then there were hits and misses here and there. I think this has to do with her not being convinced with her own character graph, which I don't fault her for at all. The character was brutally butchered since the Imarti track. I can understand her and her fans frustration because of this.
This must have left a really bitter taste with the fans. They kept requesting and provided feedback to buckle up and show some growth in Babita's character, but instead they were blocked by the PH. This frustrated them more. Obviously, PH axing her character like that only escalated the situation on hand.
Paridhi kept saying she never wanted to play a mom to a teenager, but she took up the role because it had a lot of scope for performance, so I am sure she's frustrated and upset that the character has come down to this at the end. I keep saying this but I do think Paridhi got the worst end of the deal with this show out of the three. Nevertheless, I am sure she learned and grew a lot as an actor with this show, so there would be plenty of opportunity for her to explore.
