Annie refused her for visiting and became wild ... awe kavyanjali remembered Annie's history about her childish nature calling her didi.. she also thinking about maan & yash... so now curious to know mystery about Annie...finally maan decided to hire a detective to know about kavyanjali and geet...excited for next...!!

CHAPTER 11

The doorbell rang and a handsome man in late thirties and early forties entered. The man was Private Detective, Samrat Khandelwal (Sam).

“Mr. Khurana, I have got all the details of Mrs. Geetanjali Khurana and Miss Kavyanjali Mishra that you e-mailed me. However there are few personal things of both ladies which I would like to ask you in privacy.” Sam spoke like a man who knows his job very well. Sam spent one hour with Maan alone without Yash and vice versa jotting down personal details of both their lady loves Sam left.

THREE YEARS LATER

In these three years Kavyanjali or “Dr. Anjali” as she is referred to in Dhanvantri Hospital, has finally become a fully qualified Oncologist in Gynaecologist and Obstetrics (OB/GYN) after passing her Medical exams in the field of “Oncology in Gynaecology and Obstetrics”. Anjali has recently assisted in delivering fifteen babies with the Head of Gynaecology, Dr. Vijayalakshmi Chandrashekhar (FICTITIOUS NAME) out of which she delivered ten babies entirely on her own. Dr. Vijayalakshmi so happy with Dr. Anjali’s dedication as well as medical skills that she is hoping to ask Dr. Gupta to make Dr. Anjali her Deputy Head of Gynaecology and Obstetrics when Dr. Vijayalakshmi is on leave or travelling out of Delhi for conferences etc.

Anjali had left US for India after getting her degree as an Oncologist in the field of Gynaecology and Obstetrics. Anjali was extremely grateful to the owners of Dhanvantri Hospital, Savitri Deviji, Mr. Ranjit Singh Khurana and Dr. Shashank Gupta for treating her more like a family than an employee or a junior since she had joined Dhanvantri Hospital. She also made very good friends in Vicky, Meera, Adi and Pinky. Anjali came to know what true friendship really is? In US, everyone used to be in awe of Anjali’s intelligence as well as her plain looks (according to Kavyanjali) thereby making them hesitant to extend hand of friendship towards her. She also got brotherly love and protection from Vicky and Adi. Geet didi and she had all her life wished for a brother more so after their parents passed away who would have protected them from their scheming relatives.

Savitri Deviji, Mr. Ranjit Singh Khurana (RK) and Dr. Shashank Gupta made sure that Anjali was never alone and insisted on celebrating all the festivals with them i.e. Holi, Navratre, Dusshera, Diwali etc. Through Vicky and Adi, Anjali came to know that RK Sir’s eldest son was a Cardiologist and working in US. Vicky’s elder brother had moved or exiled himself from his family as well as from India due to his being betrayed by the girl he loved as well as the pain and loss that he was suffering from by loss of his mother. Umpteen number of pleas from Savitri Deviji, RK Sir and Dr. Gupta could not bring him back. Recently i.e. three years back Khuranas were informed that RK Sir’s eldest son had married his beloved in secrecy who had been murdered after two years of her disappearance making Vicky’s brother more adamant not to return. Anjali felt as if this is a familiar story i.e. her Geet didi’s story. Anjali was still unaware that RK Sir’s eldest son was none other Dr. Maan Singh Khurana.

Anjali was also unaware that Savitri Deviji and RK were seriously considering of making Dr. Kavyanjali, Maan ki dulhan!

Today it was Dusshera, Maan decided to call home and talk to his grandmother and father. When Maan called, he was surprised to hear the Khurana Mansion’s landline picked by Nakul’s brother, Deepak instead of his grandmother, his father or Vicky. “Deepak, Dadimaa, Dad aur Vicky kahaan hain?” (Deepak, where are Dadimaa, Dad and Vicky?) Maan asked in no nonsense voice.

“Sahaab, woh s...s...sahaab....” (S...S..Sir....they ...are... S...S..Sir.....)

“DEEPAKKKK” Maan thundered

“S..s...s...sahaab....B.....b..badi malkin ko dil ka daura...... p..p...padhi bei.. S..s...sab as....aspataal...b...b...bei.” (S...S..Sir.......s...s...senior Ma’am has had a h..h...heart

attack.....e...e....every is in h...h...hospital.)

“KYA? Yeh kab hua?” (WHAT? When did this happen?)

“Kal raat. B.....b..badi malkin a..a..aapko...y..y..yaad karibe aur r..r...royibe.....” (Last night. S...S..Senior Ma’am use to c...c...continously t...t...think about you and c...c....cry......)

“Theek hai mai phone rakhta hoon.” (Fine. I’m calling off now.)

Thirty six (36) hours later, Maan Singh Khurana was standing outside his grandmother, Savitri Devi Khurana’s ICU. Ranjit (RK) and Vicky were first surprised and then ecstatic and finally overwhelmed seeing Maan face to face after thirteen (13) years back in Delhi. RK hugged Maan tight and refused to let him go. After sometime, when everyone had calmed down, RK asked the attending doctor who was there on rounds to let his son meet his grandmother. Doctor was hesitant but when Maan was introduced as a renowed Cardiologist who was working in US, Savitri Devi’s Cardiologist at once agreed and took Maan inside with him to ICU explaining Savitri Devi’s condition as one Cardiologist to another. As in Dhanvantri (Khurana) Hospitals’ Cardiology Department was not upto the mark, RK had taken Savitri Devi to another reputed hospital, City Hospital.

After meeting Savitri Devi, Vicky forcibly sent his father and elder brother home much against Maan’s wishes. Maan refused to go but just then Adi arrived and asked Maan to go home as he will stay with Vicky besides RK sir is also not as strong as he is looking, and he desperately needs rest. On reaching home he was welcomed emotionally by all servants. First time Maan realised that without a woman, why people say that a home looks like a house i.e. a structure with just walls and roof no essence, warmth or feeling of “homeliness”. He could clearly see the ravages of time in Khurana Mansion which were not apparent but subtle. Signs of his mother’s absence and his grandmother’s ill health were clearly visible as there were no longer fresh smelling flowers or aroma of delicious food floating through the Khurana Mansion when Maan entered. In Geet he had seen a reflection of his mother besides her ethereal beauty and his falling head over heels in love with her. Maan had felt that Geet was a simple girl at heart with Indian values and hence will keep his family together but unfortunately.........

Meanwhile in US, Mr. Ram Kapoor along with his wife, Priya came to meet Dr. Maan Singh Khurana but were disappointed as Maan had left for India due to a family emergency. This was all the information that Maan’s Condominium Management could give but they did give address of Maan’s another family member once they knew that its a family emergency involving his wife. Immediately, Ram and Priya left to meet Mr. Pitamber Khanna as both Ram and Priya felt that they have already wasted time by delaying meeting Maan for past three years. Although the delay was not intentionally from their side but they were forced by circumstances. Holding onto their emotions and grit they entered the penthouse of Mr. Pitamber and Mrs. Vaidehi Khanna.

There is big mystery between geet nd anjali...there seems to be serious connection between Anjali nd Annie...there is so much similarity between Anjali nd Annie...nd geet doesn't remember anything think soo..not there is big mystery. . hope Maan nd geet get to meet each other...there should be more communication between dr Anjali nd Maan...Yash loves Anjali nd Maan Geet... please there should be more scenes between Maan nd geet
