There is enough violence and too many action sequences, but not gory violence. Kids may not like the movie, but taking them along should be okay.
Kinda agree that most of the big movies are projected differently than the actual movie and some movies "sleeper hit" ones are solely on positive word of mouth,i watched CCV/PPK cos few of my friends said its good and skipped some (like pettai)movies also thanks to them
Bigil's women empowerment scenes were like some strong motivational speech type and dint actually add up to the script but yes old vijay scenes were well developed that formed an important part of the movie..Only a hour was story,the rest was some random scenes added for fun except anitha & gayatri scene were it seemed like a short film included in a movie...but then again it would lose its mass appeal if focus was on girls...
