I remember similar scene was between Priya and her Mom in Bade ache lagte hain...that was 2012..

And today scene in KHKT...Sandip has surely come a long way and kept his word that This show will be defintely remain different from others...

One of the best scene between this 2 Actresses till now...for me...

Rohit ko KHUSH KESE KARNA WOH TOH SONA KA PATA...BUT HAAME TOH KHUSH KARDIYA AAJ...😀😀😀

Moreover we got such a highly educational scene on a channel like star plus. I am thankful to SP for allowing it and why not its 2019. Nowadays shows needs to be much more rational and realistic and i am very glad Sandeep took this approach in a very subtle and healthy manner.

I was surprised the channel didn't edit or mute the word 'sex education'. In my mind i was all praises for the open mindness.

They tried to give social message which was nice, but on a lighter note i felt it was like an episode of 'balika vadhu', 😆never watched that show but i do know that at the end of the episode they give a moral message.

I just said this in the DT..Hands down this was the best scene ever in any ITV show..I give him a bow for introducing this scene👍🏼 Kudos to him..Sex education coming from a mother is the not even the last thing I could have expected from any ITV show..I was damn impressed..

Soo true.. This is indeed a very different show... To talk about sex Education that too in the prime time slot of 9pm is indeed a great move by sandeep..

This is the change required.. To create the open environment for a healthy discussion on such matters.. For the first time I felt star plus sticking to it's tag line rishta wahi baat nayi.. It's even a new page for star plus to not cut such content ..

Soo glad about today's episode..

It is commendable that they are addressing this matter on ITV.

But then again, no matter how modern the show, they still hv to show the FL as an innocent virginal virtuous girl. Sona is a 28 yr old big city girl of today’s times, who has had a boyfriend that she nearly married. What are the chances of such a girl not having kissed ever or even thought abt suhaagraat? The PH doesnt hv the guts to show the FL as someone who may hv had some degree of physical intimacy or at least kissed before.

The way Raima unhesitatingly casually spoke to Rohit abt still having a bikini body, indicates some level of intimacy. So its ok for the ML?

Definitely..its not ok for ML..

Apart from FL being shown as an innocent girl generally in ITV..is debatable as rural and urban audiences both watch it..and still this scene is shown is like..👏👏👏

But if talk about just the character of Sonakshi Rastogi..she is truly innocent in a way...reasons

She started working at too early age...had no experience in terms of getting education and being in surrounding among teens of her age. This was the reason she got attracted to Karan in first place..and he also has told..that Sona not even allowed him to touch her inappropriately.

Upbringing and responsibity at an early age..has developed this innocence..

Now look at Pari on other than...she don't need this sex education session verbally....she is pratically doing it...!!!!🙄

Completely agree with this. An almost 30 year old in this day and age who had a boyfriend that she almost married , has to be educated about suhaag raat? Because she has no idea of intimacy between a man and a woman because of course the boyfriend would never even have kissed her the entire time they were together, let along tried anything else. Realistic much??? I for one was cringing throughout that entire scene, first because it was so implausible, second because as you said they had to show the FL as untouched and virginal, and third, because the producer must have been congratulating himself for being so 'advanced' !! Good lord we are a country of close to 1.5 billion and still so much hypocrisy in our TV shows with regard to sex.

I agree with you but that's the reality of ITV and in real world too some people still see talking about sex education as a huge taboo. At least this show took the initiative and gave the message that it's not wrong to talk about sex education with your children through it's female lead without actually beeping the word sex. No show has ever done that especially a star plus show on prime time slot I think makers deserve to be applauded for taking the initiative at least.
