Ok i will answer in detail i a bit at worm now but am so happy and haha welcome yo the world of SI cinema it is a stereotype for the most part only that they are all loud and pointless these industries are changing and how and i have been witnessing it in real time. I agree there is a lot of pointless masala still but now actors and actresses arebecomi g more aware and more on "rowdy" deverakonda later hahah btw that is what he is known as in industry and his fans call themselves rowdians hahahah that is a whole thing with telugu stars with a lame name attached to them but omg vijay devearakonda i can fangirl and enlighten you more on in a bit and DC and vijay rashmika are love

Also now that you have seen that watch arjun reddy that is the original of kabir singh too and see the zameen aasman ka farak in vijay playing that messed up character ighh this guy is soooo amazing not just one scene and the bets part he is totally self made and yeah he does look like he has this arrogant streak in him but actually he is so chill and nice and actually well informed and wrll spoken hahaha and what i mean in he talks so deeply about baaki he uses aaj kal ke youngstera ka lingo lol he is really realy doing dofferent work and a lot in just begibi g of his career

Aww your excitement is so cute *pulls your cheeks*.....haha yeah, finally I managed to get around to watching other stuff.....old shows ke rewatch se break le liya and ended up checking out some South Movies instead.

Actually a couple of YT videos popped up in my Recs....including Arjun Reddy videos and wahaan se mujhe idea hua how much they literally copy/pasted every scene and every song in Kabir Singh.....lol.....then aage I ended up seeing some DC songs in my recs toh woh dekhne ke baad got curious to watch the movie finally.....it was that "Gira Gira" song that I thought was so sweetly picturized that I got curious to watch the movie.

And having finally seen Vijay's acting now, I get the hype and all that you've been gushing about endlessly in my TL.....lol matlab I can't escape your daily gushing on him kahin bhi😆....so finally I gave in to see what all the hype was about.....haha.....he is really very good....ek spark hai bande mein.....artificial nahin, natural spark.....yeah he seems to be playing a lot of emotionally volatile characters but his acting has the weight to carry them.

@bold: That's good to hear.....koi toh industry evolve ho rahi hai thankfully....lol this does make me want to check out more films from the South.....I'm so tired of artificiality in most Bolly movies and most of ITV.

Yeah, some things are still exaggerated but I can see them trying to strike a balance beyond the girl meets boy with random naach gaana stories.......even Bobby-Lilly's story had meat to it....instant love nahin tha.....they grew into it, had doubts, finally fell deeply in love and then ups and downs from there.

And how warm and cuddly were their hugs....lol bahut sweet.

Oh there's another Vijay-Rashmika movie popping up in my YT recs now....Geeta Govindham something.....lol....I might try checking that one out.

Haha so Jhanvi Kapoor is a fan of this guy? lol I guess she will try to do a Telugu movie with him soon then.

Welcome aboard there is a reason why i am still watching them after a decade too i started watching them around 2007 when genelia ventured into bollywood my first south indian film was bommarillu with her and sid and sonething just sparked it is the feel even in the usyal loud ones they just somehow strike to me and then with time esp in last few years i have more and kore went far away from bollywood i see so much more in other indistries theb why stick to this superficialcity and remakewood jahan ab toh gaane bhi bas remake hi aate hain chodo kahani and actors so why not watch originals and applayd their orginality esp when i find the actors across the industries far more talented too i mean i can go on and on listing why each one of them holds this starpower and fan following but lol usme saari raat nikal jaayegi haha but welcome once again i am just so happy i wish you could see my smiling face right now itni khushi itni khushi by God

Rofl jaan nahi chodni maine teri haha well initially it was only myself fangirling on my own and some tumblr people but then tumblr is totally dead now and then i found some people on twitter so now i take my fangirling out there but i miss the otiginal south squad hahah but chalo iska kuch toh faayda hua now you got to see a whole new world hahaha and yes KS is by same director hence so much copy paste but the worst was shahid defeding that crap of a character Vijay never defended it and calls him out a douce and a crappy guy he himself has said that in real life nobody would want to have this guy around inc me and that was what was challening yo him but he somehow managed to even make him just something else he is so nasty yet thwre are moments you genuinly want to help this guy out and be like gosh stop this now ughh but yeah that film is evry perspective based and controversial to me it is a whole study on toxic relationships and i have always applauded sandewp the director for showing this side of relationships until i gpt to know his screwed up thoughts that this is li e but ehh 🤷‍♀️ i will still applaud it i mean arjun reddy for the fact that it showed toxicity like it did and will say everyone should watch to know when to get out rather than take it as some epic love story which it is not and for me hoenstly the original cast is so dear to my heart and how they all made it big with it that my hate for wanna bee version gets even more ughhh

Yes jhanvi is a hige fan there is an actual video of her singing inkem inkem in telugu in some interview and then kho got to know about deverakonda and tab se leech is behind deverakonda to get him to come to bollywood he said he is tjinking but he will not leave his base but now his fandom in mumbai is increasing so much and he is getting papped a lot thabks to kjo and jhanvi but most people would like to see him with her caz yeah if anyone deserves a film here it is her caz of so much promotion she did she cutely

Govind the dumbo is so cute in his dream world and woth hsi expectations haha again i really love the way this has been picturized too the whole his fantasy is shown so beautifully and then when he finally sees the face also the domesticity and romance is jsut so cute and nice and real unlike anything bollywood i jsut don't find superficiality in south industries for most part which isthe only thing in in bollywood esp in 2019 only exception being GB

Re: Arjun Reddy and Kabir Singh....so I actually watched Kabir Singh on Netflix so I have some idea of the story now since the director is the same and he's copy/pasted the whole thing....I realized this only when I saw the climax scene of AR on YT and I could understand everything even without subtitles....lol that's how much they copied the scene frame by frame....same park, same bench, same dialogues......lol

It's definitely a toxic relationship but for some reason I thought that the ending was changed for Kabir Singh, that is why it was getting bashed so much for sanitizing the abusive angles to the relationship....but turns out AR ki bhi same ending hai.....lol happily ever after😆

I guess the movie is supposed to be watched for the acting....I remember you trying to recommend AR to me way back....you posted the trailer in the CC I think and I got put off by the level of abusiveness in it plus girl looked kinda blahh so I never got around to watching it.....lol but now I might go back to watch it just to compare the acting levels....having seen Vijay's work in DC now, I can gather he must have been natural in AR too.

I don't know if he should move to Bollywood....woh Dulquer bechaare ka kya haal kar diya....I liked him in OKK and Kaarvaan....and then kya downgrade ho gaya.....even Siddharth has never gotten his due in Bollywood.....

Oh one thing I was struck by while watching DC and that last scene when Bobby tries so hard to make Lilly speak up and take a stand for herself, not take the "easy" way out of falling into a marriage and giving up her dreams because someone tried to kill her spirit........but she can't gather the courage and keeps spiraling into herself.

Mujhe PB deja vu ho raha tha of how Babita has essentially decided to tank her life and HS bas gardan jhuka ke is going along with it.....what a sad waste.

See arjun reddy has emotional attachements it was the first that holi scene in hindi is just sooooooo bad shahid trying soooo hard and then you see the vijay's version the range he os going through you can see hin frustrated at his own behavior too and then gettibg overwhelmed vy what she went theough and honestly shalini took her time to grow as preity but kiara is no match. She is a natural too yes not the prettiest heroine out there as they have said arjun was like she is the prerttiest it was hard to beleive at forat for me too and i was like meh she is so average but then the emotional attachment and i have heard their making and all there is a reason Vijay praisies her so much and finds her the most talented of all his co actors. The best thing about ar wasn't just the film itself it was thw whole group of friends his hest friend in ar is just sonething else also for me it holds so much more special place because i have seen these guys rise with that film all of them rahul ramakrishna included but honestly that pms dialogue in hindi sounded so tacky and just fake to me but wheb vijay says that you get what he is trying to say and his point and that self induced mi or coma even his brother is so much better in original and the daadi

Also KS for me was too cariacaturish with the punjabi family i mean "ofcourse" it was just not believeable for me seeing preity as a tulu girl and him solid reddy

Yes dulquer was humiliated of sorts in whatever shit he did with sonam as much as i enjoyed the book and love dq am passing on that caz it looks so tacky and yes these guys should stay in their respective industries only with izzat yahan inko neizzat karane hi laate hain pehle bichare dhanush ke saath kya kia ab toh orabhas ko bhi saaho ka ladoo mil gaya seriously they do so well in their industries and are so respected then they want to get exposure atleast that was the reason for DQ he openly admitted byt bro you are doing so well for yourself in malayalam and tamil industry why get treated like 2nd class citizen here i will never get it but chalo i guess they need money to run their production houses so they do it once in while. What i really like is all fo them are now making their own films under their own banners Dhanush,DQ and now VD also has his forst release upcoming next and that they all have been sticking yo their friends from starting like even though VD baceme such a big name now he is still working with the guys he started off with and now launching those guys under his banner very sweet of them same with dq

Oh one other thing I keep forgetting to mention.....lol I like how they throw in a few lines of Hindi beech beech mein even though it's a South movie.....haha

The stereotype otherwise has been that they only stick to their own languages but never speak any others....this feels more natural given how people from different parts of the country obviously pick up different words and languages as they travel to different parts for education/work.....this perception that people in the South are silo-ed and can't pick up Hindi slang is kinda getting broken now.

Even in OKK, they spoke Hindi in some portions cuz they were living in Mumbai.....and in DC, it was cute how Lilly would go "Kya baat hai" to tease Bobby from time to time about things like his poetry😆

And that one scene when Bobby first spoke in heavily accented Hindi to that friend Rubina of Lilly's when he gets to the cricket academy😆

Omg yes didn't i tell you that it really struck me when he said but wait you have loved cricket more and from much longer than why suddenly just shaadi karo and settle down at that time he didn't knew why she just wanted to settle and save the izzat yada yada i loved how he pushed her made her realize that fight for what you li 3 i.e the tagline of the film and cricket here. Again people never thought rashmika could pull it off but she did and how ... she was so fragile yet the way he healed her was so beautiful and stood by her

What else really tore mewas when he was saying why marriage and all and she goes well what right you jave to come and say that to me when you left me in the middle beah that moment was so piercing

P.s idk if you know but vijay's brother devuted juat recently too and his film looks promising too even though he is becahara mot as blessed in looks as VD haha but they sohnd so similat and i am waiting for that to come to Amazon too
