Yes, 2 weeks which is 8 episodes is a long time to run the show with just one judge. Why don't they show Mahesh Kale via Skype or something? And they should've replaced Shalmali Kholgade. The quality has certainly deteriorated this season.

Spruha is weird

With just 4 songs per episode and 4 days a week covering all contestants it gives them a lot of time to waste in every episode. And hence so much of bak-bak filler material. Calling all the Colors Marathi families on stage, discussing their roles, asking every tom dick and harry about what they have to say about every song. We have a 3 minute song followed by 8 - 10 minutes of bak-bak + commercial breaks. You just don't feel it is a song based program. This season has been totally diluted.

Yes, they had increased it to 4 days due to high number of competitors, now with 2 eliminations each week they will come back to 3 days next week and mostly only 1 elimination per week.

2 special can be interesting if they bring good people in. Subodh Bhave and Sumit Raghavan are in for the first week. So, it will be interesting but can they maintain that quality ?

Today, finally we should be able to watch Akshaya do her Mahi ve number. Watching those promos of her you can expect she would be awesome.

And finally Akshaya slayed it. What can one say about her? The audience and her co-contestants' reactions said it all.

As Spruha mentioned, the key is her correct diction in any language song that she takes up. If you had listened to the lavanis she sang during the audition stages she was so perfect in her rendering. I believe she has a great future ahead of her.

She got a once more and she did better than earlier. With every performance she has shown growth, versatility and maturity far beyond her age. Her mastery over diction is commendable, especially compared to other participants who don't make much effort in that area.
