I was commenting in general on the toxic nature of discussions in this forum now where people twist everything to the extremes.

Everything is twisted to claim that only Babita is flawed and everyone thinks others are perfect/mahaan.....no one said that but people here insist on twisting everything shown in the episodes.

I've repeated a 100 times that I don't think HS is perfect, he has plenty of flaws....still people claim that he was perfect before the shaadi and never did anything wrong....he's shown plenty of angry outbursts for various issues before also.....no one ever denied that he has an ego too. Yet many ppl here insist on claiming that all is forgiven for HS and only Babita is targeted.....and if he shows one angry outburst, he immediately becomes an MCP.

Anyways, it's exhausting to keep repeating the same thing cuz the people here who want to twist things will continue doing so...you can't reason with them.

HS was a flawed character but he was shown as a modern day feminist ...supporting Babes and Minnie in all their fights ...also his perspective and thoughts behind his actions were shown so we got insight into his mind

Now the CV are portraying it as him trying to impress Babes and that he had his sights set on her from Day 1...it’s like we were all lied to. To this day we don’t know what caused HS to accuse Minnie of the CD switch and what’s going on in his head

Babita was once supported by us all because her character was showing growth ...now she sounds like a brainwashed housewife...the execution and dialogues are so cringe even I feel the actress has lost heart in the show

@bold: No they are not. That is a sweeping presumption. Him being attracted to her since the early days does not mean that everything he did was simply a tactic to woo her. People are making wild presumptions based on one dialogue, when all he did was be honest about the fact that he was attracted to her and his feelings evolved over time.

The CD issue is pending resolution, so we can't make presumptions of him being ruined over that.

HS always stated that he believed in empowering women....how has that changed post marriage? Has he forced Babita for anything? He's always still told her that everything is about her choice, no? Even before the marriage, even though he encouraged Babita to be strong and self-sufficient, he had many episodes when he'd lose his temper if he felt she wasn't listening to him or if he felt someone was slacking in responsibility....he's always had that strict scolding side to him before also.

The only difference is that the writers don't show him self-reflecting as much these days because the story is in a different zone right now.

As for Babita....well that's a larger mess. I'm talking about how people are claiming that HS has suddenly been turned into a butchered MCP....I don't agree with that.

I don’t think he is a mcp but if he respected Babes and thought she was a strong woman why is he lying to her and tiptoeing around her emotions all the time

It’s affecting all his relationships including with Minnie and NB even...something has gone askew in him and Babes relationship post marriage ..The balance isn’t there and the HS that supported Babita like a guide seems to be fading away

Because people sometimes make allowances in love and marriage. All your principles and convictions take a backseat when you love someone and want to avoid rocking the boat.

What he’s doing is not prudent, but it was easier for him to give her gyaan when he wasn’t her husband. As her husband, he feels a different responsibility to appease her. It’s still early days and they are adjusting, that’s why.

He will learn the hard way that he’s not handling this well and in the long term, it is messing things up.

We saw HS as a wise and mature guide when we found him at that point in the story. But we forget that he wasn’t born that way with gyaan about so many issues. He learnt it through life experiences and observations.

So even now, he will learn through this experience coz he has no previous experience in this kind of marriage with a complicated woman, a marriage which also includes a grown daughter.

They all have things to learn.
