Woh kapde agar woh sell/auction hoga toh koi na koi, ameer chutiya show off ke liye high price mai lega, aur woh paisa charity mai jayega. So its win win situation for all, charity ko ziyada paisa milega instead of just clothes, show off wale chutiya Deepika ka kapde hai bolke show off kar sakta hai aur Deepika ko waah waahi milega.

The thing is celebrity can do these things, unki used phati huyi chadi bhi, show off je liye log high price mai lete hai, so if celebs use that privilege for charity, I don't think that is immoral or anything bad. Hum log directly kapde dete hai, kiyu ki hamare second hand kapde ka kuch value nahi hota. Jitna bhi mast conditions kyu na ho, bartaan wala return mai ziyada se ziyda 20 litre wali balti hi thama deta hai. Agar humare kapde ko bhi high price milti toh, humbhi usse sell karke woh paisa charity mai de sakte. Aur upar se Deepika ke clothes normal life mai koi gareeb laga bhi nahi sakta.

Whatever the intention are, agar kisi zarurat mand ke kaam aye toh I don't think it's bad. Many mental patients, can't afford the treatment cost(assuming this money goes for those things), and it helps them, I don't see this as a bad thing.

Yes Deepika directly pocket se bhi de sakti thi(maybe she is giving too, we don't know), lekin something is better than nothing.

I didn't like the collection. It's really meh.

Deepika plans to give all the proceeds that come from the sale of the items towards her The Live Love Laugh foundation to help people struggling with mental illness.

She setup the whole trust with her own money, long back, so maybe ka toh sawal hi nahi uthataa....

Selling her own stuff for the trust, only spreads the word more, and who knows, maybe, some of these rich people might donate more apart from buying the dresses..... So this is like a promotion..... Of course this is keeping her also in news, so that's is a plus point for her too

But people who take that for free wont need these expensive clothes and jewelry...They will just ask you to keep them yourself and instead give something that they can use, or may be the money...

Auctioning the expensive wardrobe for money and then using that money for charity is the best way to help the real poor and needy people!
