Who amongst current crop of BW actors can play Joker? - Page 3

None.

I dont think there is director actor combination in Bollywood that could come with something as good as ledgers or Phoenix joker

In order of those who I think can pull it off

1) Nawazuddin Siddiqui. He is a true acting powerhouse and on-screen chameleon. He has done everything from understated sensitivity to insane derangement.

2) Saif Ali Khan. He is a genuine risk-taker constantly pushing the boundaries of mainstream hero. He's done dark roles and I think he will work hard to tap into the inner insanity.

3) Shahid Kapoor. With Haider, Udta Punjab, and Kabir Singh, Shahid has proven he can go well beyond the lover boy. A role like Joker would be the next step.

I think Vasan Bala witing and Anurag Kashyap directing can pull off a role like Joker. After hearing the praise heaped on Jalikattu, I think Lijo Jose would also be a good candidate to create an Indian rendition.
