Re: Saroj.....lol but it's not about helping na.....it's about the general paranoia in many women that they try to then project into any other woman....lol

From Saroj's POV, Babita was kind of like an outcast after her divorce....koi pati nahin tha so there was nothing to loop her into the same group as all the married women doing their married women things.....lol but now Babita is back in the "league" so Saroj is providing muft ka gyaan.....lol if things go wrong, she wants to be able to say, "I told you so na ki yeh karna chahiye tha, woh karna chahiye tha....mera advice nahin maana toh dekho kya ho gaya".....lol....phir baith ke gossip about phooti kismat etc. etc...lol bahut log line mein khade hote hain dusron ke misfortune pe tsk tsk karne ko.

One thing that struck out to me....Babita tries to show that she's happy doing all this seva but she's not really happy to do it...and that is another lesson she needs to learn.....agar seva mann se nahin aati, toh nahin karni chahiye. It becomes counterproductive....you do it thinking it's a necessity to manage relationships, but then you feel like it's not valued and you start to develop resentment.....this is what happened with Babita when she was doing seva of the Khuranas also.

And then the blame doesn't only lie with the person who asked you to do seva....it also lies in the fact that you didn't do it with a genuine sense of seva but out of majboori.....ultimately leading to bitterness and resentment.

Tomorrow if something goes wrong with pb because of these two days she will conviniently blame hs for making her do Seva of chachi or will resent it quietly. Instead she should have sat with hs and made him understand how this order is important and she needs to drop in to her shop in between to see it.

Aslo neither hs nor Babita see how NB is left alone to manage the shop. Even babita dosent feel bad nor hs. Babita could have also used this to make hs understand she can't put all stress on NB only. Then I'm sure he would have understood. If there was no emergency maybe he himself could have come back for half day in between.

I understand her reluctance to say no but at some point she will have to get comfortable discussing tricky situations with HS. They are husband-wife and have to learn to work through things together. He needs to put her at ease as well.

I don’t really think this is about foolishness. Saroj is her SIL and since they’ve patched up, they talk and share a lot of things. Saroj isn’t saying anything that Babita isn’t already thinking herself. This is how she’s grown up thinking too. It won’t disappear so easily.

They are trying to show how second marriages are viewed by those who get into them and those around them....it’s no surprise that most ppl will give cautionary advice like this only ki be more careful, prioritize this shaadi only...be grateful for your second chance etc etc.

@bold: LOL you’re making the presumption that Babita herself thinks the order is important....based on her expressions when Mini mentions the shop, I don’t think she does 😆....toh HS ko kya samjhayegi.

She needs to value the shop herself first, tab jaake HS ko communicate kar paayegi.

But I agree that both her and HS need to realize how unfair it is for NB to be toiling away so much in the shop at this age.

See this is what happens jab rishte hi itne complicated ho sambhaalne mein that baaki sab yaad nahin rehta....dukaan kaisi hai, kaun chala raha hai, kaise chala raha hai etc.

Baaki toh yes, Babita definitely needs to understand that this ideal bahu mode isn’t gonna give her happiness or automatically make her marriage successful.

He generally does try to make her comfortable about sharing everything with him, but this time it’s a case of bad timing since he’s very sensitive about this Chachi in particular.

Babita had no hesitation sharing her views about Mickey and that situation of him staying over at the haveli 😆....she’s only reluctant this time cuz HS has made a rare request from her for himself.

Also, I feel she herself agrees with what he’s asking for....badon ki seva is stuff she understands. Lol Mickey ka case she didn’t, so she created more ruckus for that.

But yes, I agree otherwise that they need to learn how to work through things together as husband-wife rather than just appeasing each other.

Lol I always find it so amusing how people first presume that HS was ever perfect, and then rush to vilify him and equate him to Ashok 🤔😆

I guess I was watching a different show all this time where HS has lost his temper and shouted at Babita before also....lol but aaj suddenly he became Ashok for doing it 🤷‍♀️😂

Also amusing is every other day, people asking Paridhi or Anirudh to quit this show based on what ever is shown in a given epi 😆
