Part-7

Ishita along with Mihir and Raghu uncle left from there leaving Mr and Mrs Bhalla guilty. Sinhas also left after assuring them that they can win Ishita's trust as she is soft but hard some times. Ishmi and Raghu reached the flat, Ishmi had bought it by themselves, they set their things there. Ishmi got busy in setting other things in the flat to divert their mind while Raghu uncle was very sad remembering the good time and bad time of his life with his friends. Mr bhalla called him and tried to come there but Raghu denied to leave them alone as Mr iyer's death anniversary is coming after two days, and they are already sad. That day passed like this only, both side all were sad and not at peace.

Next day, Raghu called Raman and told him to go to the office as MD of the company and be responsible and give some respect to Mr Iyer's decision. Raman accepted and got ready for the office. He was nervous as he don't know much about this company and he was going directly as MD which was a big responsibility. As he entered the office, all greeted him as everyone had already heard of the news plus Ishita had also informed them. Ishita also came there and introduced him with staff and his secretary. Mihir welcomed him by a bouquet of flowers. Mihir gave him a round of the office and then explained about their company while Ishita got busy in her work as usual. There were a few times when Ishita came to him but to a MD for work. She sent everyone to Raman when it comes to take some decision for company. Day ended but Ishita didn't give any chance to Raman to talk.

Next day, Ishita had kept a puja for her Appa's death anniversary. Bhallas and Sinhas also come there and Ishita and Raghu didn't stop them to attend it. After puja ended, Mr Bhalla told Ishita that he want to promise her and Raghu that he will try to rectify his mistakes and he will not repeat his mistakes…. But Ishita interrupted and said calmly,

I (slightly smiling) - Jane se pehle aapne ek promise mere Appa se bhi Kia tha, vo to fulfil nhi hua, now I don't want to bind myself to any other promise. No need of any promise.

Raghu denied to talk to Mr Bhalla at that time while Ishmi went out. Sinhas and Bhallas also left while Raman followed Ishmi and reached an orphanage plus ashram which Mr Iyer had only opened. Ishmi distributed sweets, toys and new cloths to all. Raman saw her smiling genuinely first time playing with children and talking to the people living there. After sometime, all went for lunch while Ishmi stayed there only. Ishita sat on the ground and looked at the Mr Iyer's photo frame kept there. Mihir sat beside her and asked if she is fine keeping his hand on her shoulder. Ishita nodded smiling.

M - Di, ek baat pooch sakta hu?

I - Tumhe kabse permission ki jarurat padne lagi?

M (smiled) - situation par depend karta hai.

I (looking at him) - I really want to talk. You know what first person was Adhiraj, with whom I could share my feelings, he was my best friend but few things I couldn't not share with him. When Raghu uncle came to us, then I got someone to talk, to share my feelings openly, it felt so light. But then I stopped talking to him, because I didn't want to hurt him more by talking about his friend. Appa and uncle were already so much hurt and worried about him. Then you came as a new supporter of my life. Thank you for being a silent listener to me.

M - ha ab yeh thanks hi bacha tha hamare beech. Phir to mujhe bhi aapko aur Appa ko bhot se thanks bolne hai.

I - Ok sorry.

Both smiled and after a few seconds of silence, he asked,

M - Kya aapko sach mein koi fark nhi padta Appa ke promise se?

Ishita looked at her Appa photo while Raman thought,

Flashback:- When Bhallas came out of Ishita's flat, Raman asked his parents about which promise Ishita was saying. His mother initially tried to escape but Adhiraj said that it's high time to tell every truth to their children which they should have known long time back. Mr Bhalla explained when they were leaving India, they were very emotional, a big fear of parting from each other was there, so Mr Bhalla promised Mr Iyer that he will definitely be coming back and will make Mr Iyer's daughter, Ishita as his daughter in law for sure, Ishra marriage. Appa also accepted it and promised. Raman got shocked.

Raman was thinking when he heard,

I - I'm also a human being Mihir. I too have some feelings. Of course, I got affected by all this. Vo din mere liye worst day of life tha. Mere saamne Mera sab kuch khatm ho rha tha, Amma ko to already kho chuki thi, Appa bhi…… aur us waqt mere Appa mujhe batate hai ki. Actually order dete hai that I have to bring back his business and give it to his friend's son plus I have to marry him….. that time I was worried for him only. Without even thinking and listening to him properly, I promised him for everything he wanted from me and the moment I promised him, he took his last breath and…. (She couldn't complete and wiped her tear). You know what Mihir, I hate Bhallas, not because my Appa gave very few share to me or told me to either marry Raman or never marry. I hate them because my Appa lived for his friend and friendship but they never cared for that. I at least know about them and their promise very well but Raman Bhalla, his father didn't inform him anything even when he was ready to marry someone else. I'm bound to my Appa's promise but he was not. I don't know anything about him and my Appa wanted me to marry him. So what do you think, I should be happy. No I'm not happy. I'm helpless. I'm left with nothing, just father like uncle and a brother in you and yes of course, few years of contract as a CEO, after that I don't know they will keep me or not. I don't have any problem with anything. I don't want to be angry with them, it's just I don't want them to try to come close to me because I don't trust them. I'm very clear in my life, bas uncle aur tumhara dhyan rakhna hai, contract complete karna hai aur kisi se koi attachment nhi rakhna hai and about marriage, to vo to vaise bhi main interested nhi hu. Anything else you want to ask?

She asked smiling while Mihir nodded in no saying she didn't leave anything to ask. Both shared a sweet smile and mihir gave a supportive side hug to her. While Raman left after listening to her.

Ishmi and raghu left from iyer mansion they reached to flat which ishmi had brought together mr.bhalla called and tried to come there but raghu denied as mr iyers death anniversary was coming he didnt wanted to leave ishmi alone they were already sad at both houses all were sad raghu asked raman to go to office as MD and do his duty properly raman reached office nervously ishita made him introduced to everyone ishita was sending all too raman for every decision ishita kept pooja for mr.iyers death anniversary bhallas and sinhas also reached there ishita didnt stopped them pooja got over all left ramann followed ishmi both went to orphanage raman saw ishita happliy playing with kids mihir asked ishita if she really didnt felt bad about mr.iyers decision felt really bad hearing ishitas talk waiting too see what raman will do
