Arjun secretly moves to the roof top by a pipe. By the timehe was there. Riya was standing there wearing a ganji and tracks, her hands aremehendi clotted. She is looking upwards to the sky. Silence prevailed between them. Suddenly Riya started talking about random things suddenly arjun kept head in herlap. Riya though astonished at first then started to ruffle his hair. Slowly hehugs her in same way

Riya : y are you so tensed. I know u wanted to join theuniversity right uske paise ke liye hi na... Mai Mumbai mein mere dosth sebaath kiya... Soon after going there u can join there as a junior doctor. Salary bhi 20 thousand dega aur increment 10%hoga for every 6 months

Arjun looks at her face from her lap. She smiles at him,ruffles his hair and says some soothing words

Arjun : thank you riya..

Riya : dosth hun tera... And friendship mein no sorry nothank you

Arjun again gets up from her. She makes an excuse and movesaway for few minutes.

Arjun m.v : kal tera shaadi hai aur ab tum yaha uske saath..Its like cheating sakshi aur yeh tumhe dosth bol rahe hai. But all u have toknow is her health issue may not be because of you but it declined even moredue to you and you are the culprit for that... U can't escape this crime formaking a girl’s life miserable. Did u ever paid heed to her words. She directlysaid that u are her hope and life. But you are such a selfish man. Just for urdegree and money you left her at the time she needed you the most. U can'tescape this one.

Suddenly riya came with a bottle of French wine. She broughttwo glasses with her. She sat beside arjun and filled the glasses with somewine and forwarded her hand to arjun

Riya : ju take it

Arjun : no thanks

Riya went near him : dekho i know i am not fit for you..That's ok but not even for a drink ( she made sad face)

Looking at this arjun grabbed the glass and drank it in ago. She smiled looking at him.

Arjun : shaadi ke baad (his gut was filled with pain) whereare you moving?

Riya : we are moving to Mumbai. Lekin shaadi pehla tera hai,mera shaadi ke liye itni jaldi bhi nahi hai

They had some random talks and arjun moved back to homeafter sometime.

NEXT DAY :

HALDI CEREMONY (Halad Chadavane– Marathi ritual)

Arjun just came to the living area. He is having severeheadache and he held his head and sat there with head in his hands. He wasgoing through much metal pressure and trauma.

Arjun: (m.v) kya yeh shaadi karna is it correct? Nahi tohSakshi ka life kyu barbaad karna shaadi karke? Agar shaadi rok liya toh mujheyeh bhi guarantee nahi hai ki riya mujhse shaadi karegi. Lekin usko ab treatment ki jarurath hai uske kaise batana hai?

Suddenly he remembers something

Arjun: riya ka MD admission hui na?

He takes his mobile checks her college. He then looks at hisadmission letter. But house is filledwith guests. Some girls came and dragged arjun inside to apply him haldi

And the haldi continued. Arjun looked dull and disturbed.Shree was observing this.

Shree: yeh kal taksuna suna tha lekin aaj itna disturbed and dull kyu hai?

Thinking this he continued to help in the chores there.After sometime arjun bathed and came out wearing another dress.

Shree: arjun seriously, kal tera shaadi hai aur tum itnadull ho aur upar se yeh kapde pehen rahe ho, kya hai yeh?

Arjun: bike dena,mujhe riya ke paas jaana hai.

Shree: are you out of senses.

Arjun: are yaar parso uski sagai hai na, wish karke aathahun ; kyu ki kal mein toh busy hun na

Shree though not convinced but handed over keys to him.Arjun went to riya’s building. Her uncle was standing outside and looking atarrangements. He was shocked to see arjun there.

Anand: meine suna ki kal tera shaadi hai.

Arjun just smiles. Riya saw him by that time and came downwith sam. Arjun smiled brightly looking at her but next instant he found herfingers entwined with sam and arjun’s smile faded away. Sam came forward andhugged arjun

Sam: hello arjun, Uncle arjun is just too good ( turning to anand)

Riya: hey arjun , tum yaha ab iss time mein.

Arjun: bas I was free and I just thought ki tum dono koadvance mein wish karu. Kal toh shaadi hai aur parso …

Sam: honeymoon pe jaana hai kya?

Riya: are arjun waise plans hai toh please mere sagai kebaad jao.

Arjun just smiled. Riya went to bring tea for them. Sam and arjun sat on the chairs arranged outside.Riya returned after sometime, this time along with sameer’s mom and riya’s mom.

Arjun: Namaste aunty…

Riya’s mom just nodded. While sam’s mom wished him whole-heartedly.

Sam’s mom: hello beta, sam ne bahuth bola tumhare bare mein.

Riya: arjun chai ..

Riya’s mom was observing this. Riya passed tea to arjun,arjun took it and smiled & riya also smiled looking at him brightly.

Sam: acha arjun tu bhi MD karne wala tha na?

Arjun: ha I appliedto a university. I think call letter may come within next 3 days.

Riya mom: kal shaadi hai aur tum aaj aise ghum rahe ho?

Riya: maa behave (whispering) arjun sab arrangements hogayina?

Arjun: haa..

Sam: riya teri joda kal subah ayegi. Designer just calledme.

Riya: aur wo nail polish?

Sam : are you serious? U are hopeless at times

Sam’s mom : rehne do beta.. beta arjun shaadi ke baad yahirahega tum ya

Arjun: nahi aunty actually Mumbai mein ek college meinhigher studies ke liye apply kiya.

Sam’s mom: Mumbaiaane ke baad ek din aana dinner karunga saath mein.

Sam: ha arjun kyu nahi?

Arjun: riya waiseshaadi kab?

Riya’s mom: within next two months.

Riya: decide nahi kiya

Riya and her mother said this at a time.

Sam: ha arjun aunty ne bola ki do mahine baad shaadi hoga.

Arjun: normal wedding ya destination wedding.

Sam: jaise rani bolega?

All started to laugh. Riya was confused about this. She wastoo tensed, suddenly she was sweating and everything looked like moving. Arjunwas observing this, before he got up to help riya’s uncle came in.

Anand: riya ek baar beta kuch baath karna hai.

Riya moves from there. Arjun also moves back of her withouther notice. Riya and her uncle sit on the table arjun hides behind a tree andlisten their conversation.

Riya: mama I am not ready for this marriage, but mummy netoh decide kiya. I am not ready.

Anand: sagai ke baad we will talk to them. Tu pehle thodanimbu paani peelo.

After some time riya go away from there. Anand sits down and holds his head.

Arjun: aapko pehle hi patha hai na? aapane use achchha ilaaj kyon nahin diya sir .Log kya sochenge yahi sochkar na sir

Anand grabbed arjun’s collar: tumnhe kaise patha

Arjun thought of saying doctors name but he didn’t wanted torisk his name for that.

Arjun: agar aap bhul gaye toh yaad dilau ki mein ek doctorhun, bas psychiatrist nahi hun lekin minimum idea hothi hai na.

Anand removed his hold and sighed him to sit down.

Anand: Riya ke parents didn’t have a happy marriage. Riya kepapa ne shaadi ke pehle kisi aur se pyaar kiya so they never had good rapport.Aur parental pressures ke wajhese they’ve got riya. Uske aane ke baad wo uskepapa ke zindagi ban gaye lekin ek dinargument bad gayi aur divorce tak chali gayi. Tab riya ko first panic attackaayi thi. Uske baad wo alag reh rahe hai aur court pe jaake riya ke ma ne uskacustody li. Riya ka depression us stage se start hui aur uske baad uske papa nephir shaadi ki. She was good women lekin riya ke maa doesn’t like it. She wanted riya be away fromher father. But their families meet every week. So riya’s mother started toforce her to make riya as her replica this caused more trauma. Everyonegenerally say their problems to their parents lekin yaha problem hi parents sehai toh who kya karegi bechari. Abhi tak usko yeh nahi patha hai ki wo kismedical condition se guzaar rahi hai. Aur mein nahi chah rahi hun ki sab kopatha chale aur sab usko pagal bole. Please don’t say it to anyone riya ko bhi

Arjun left the place after some talks he left the place and went to shree’s house.

TERRACE OF ARJUN’S HOUSE

12.30 AM

Shree: tu pagal hogaye kya?

Arjun: mein bol raha hun bas kar.

Shree: mein bol raha hun yeh sab parents se baath karna haiaur Sakshi se bhi yeh nahi hosaktha. Tu chup reh warna mein uncle ko abhibolungi. Jo bhi hai ham shaadi ke baad ham discuss karenge, mein baath karungiriya ke treatment ke bare mein lekin arjun ab nahi

Arjun: theek hai. Lekin wo manega kya?

Shree: agar tab bhi nahi toh bhaag ja

Arjun smiles at him. They leave to their respective houses.

NEXT MORNING

ARJUN’S HOUSE:

Arjun’s mother was knocking his door, but it wasn’t lockedso she went inside but didn’t find any trace of arjun. Everyone startedsearching him. Shree entered the place and found tension on everyone’s face. Andeven he started searching. Arjun was found no where. Suddenly shree dialed arjun’snumber it was switched off.

Shree: phone switched off.

Shree went to his room and opened his cupboard and found itempty , he collapsed on the floor. Arjun’s parents also rushed inside and arjun’smother started to cry loudly. After sometime knowing this sakshi’s family alsoassembled there. Sakshi went near his cupboard numbly and saw a letter.

Papa,

Mein jaaraha hun, kyun ki mujhe yeh shaadi karkeuske life ko barbaad nahi karni. Aap yeh bhi nahi samjho ki mein kisi aur sebhaag raha hun nahin, bas mein apna self worth badane ke liye jaa raha hun. Mujhepatha hai ki aapko gussa ayegi isliye toh bhaag raha hun. Mujhe aap kabhi nahiproblems face karne ki himmath nahi diya mein bas bachpan se agar thoda problemaaya toh uss se bhaagna seekh liye, ek baar try kiya riya ke saath tab himmathnahi tha aur ab bhi nahi hai. Maa I love you, I will miss you too. Shree I amsorry kyu ki dil aur dimaag ke ladne mein ek jeetegi lekin mera dil aur dimaagbas ek hi keh raha tha jao arjun yaha se , bas meine follow kiya. . I know SakshiI’ve hurted to but meine jo bhi kiya usme teri bhalai hi hai, yeh shaadi kebaath bhul jao lekin hamaari dosthi nahi.

Jaa raha hun risthonse aazad hokar self-worth badane ke liye. Lekin ek din zaroor laut aunga agarkarna hai toh intezaar karna.
